I'd like to see Usyk-Afolabi (or say even Bellew) though or something of that caliber, no need to jump to a top opponent straight away, take on a lesser but still decent guy first.
You're fine. In the spirit of fairness, here was my blonde moment of the day: http://www.boxingforum24.com/showthread.php?p=17405145#post17405145 Anyway.. Usyk vs. Drozd is the one I personally want (as it would be the most combined pure boxing skill you could possibly get at Cruiser right now) but there are some others that make for more combustion.
Bellew I could live with. I mean i'm not sure how much more we'd learn? We might see some more combos, some more fluid punching and we can get a look at a serious start presuming Usyk would take him seriously...but he could do better.
I don't know IB. Kud can do quite a lot of damage in the first couple of rounds when Usyk is stil settling in. Maybe too much to overcome later on or even the early onslaught itself. I'm really not so sure Usyk will take it, although I'm positive Usyk is the much beter boxer overall.
I'd actually view Bellew as being a lateral move from Muller. That's how low my opinion is of him @ cruiser.
He will probably have another fight against a top 15 WBO opponent this year and after Nov 4th we will know better who's available for him to step up.
Oh - I didn't realize you meant next. That's what I want to end up happening. The "big fight" in the division, that we're building up to (unless either of them is derailed along the way)
I think highly of Glowacki but Usyk would beat him and it seems likely Ramirez would be willing to unify after he leaves YPH unconscionable. Then again K2 can't match Ryabinskiy's money, VER will be willing to unify but facing The Swan is more likely and that would be a heinous bout.
As for stunning and incredible ?? I wouldn't go that far. Very good . Yes? The superlatives should end there until he fights some top opposition. Ive seen too many of fighters look as good as him coming through the ranks.
