The guy goes 24 rounds with an absolute beast like Anthony Joshua, and fought another beast like Daniel Dubois, and he beat them both quite comfortably. Usyk gives so much weigh, height and reach advantage it's insane. This guys are not just good HWs, they have top tier speed, top tier power, and top tier explosiveness, and both are great combination punchers. And both of them barely land on Usyk. And the most scarry thing is, this wasn't even full prime Usyk. Both of him are way younger as well, which is a big advantage. Hell can you imagine what a 30-32 years old Usyk would do to the division?
I wanted also to open up a thread. Usyk is plain and simple an atg. Look at his defense, timing, speed, boxing IQ and the most important thing his mental toughness and stamina. He is constantly moving with great! Head movement, always in controll and just incredible to watch. Imo he will utterly school fury, I even think fury will cancel the fight or get disqualified during the fight because of fouls, he knows himself he can't beat usyk. Let's just enjoy a real throwback and an top 20 atg p4p. I think after the win against fury usyk will retire.
I sense some but***** in you? Did you mommy hug you enough when you was a child? Maybe you need some of this now ? Behave.
Yeah Usyk constant upper body movement is something else. The energy/cardio you need to sustain this for 12 rounds is insane. Moving your upper body movement constantly drain so much, it's unreal.
He’s class simple as, a proper throwback guy who loves to fight. I was a big fan of Fury but Usyk has defo been a way better champion than he has ever been. To think people were saying Chisora beat him and he ducked Wilder - LOL. People just love to hate.
Absolute freak. One of the greatest we will ever see. I am so looking forward to watching this genius take the fat, fake gypsy to school.
A superior athlete in so many ways. A dominant fighter who is punching well above his natural weight. A true master the likes of whom we only see once-if lucky-in a lifetime.
Usyk is the Heavyweight Champion of the World, whose heavyweight resume is ageing like fine wine He just needs to outclass Tyson and he goes down as the best heavyweight post-Lewis, depending on whether you value bodies or consistency in the case of him vs Wlad ofc dgmw, if Usyk fought each of the top 10 back-to-back-to-back, I think he would rack up a loss or two, but that has always been the case - boxing rankings/fan perception is essentially a house of cards, and right now Usyk stands at the top
Throw back? He dances around point fighting, there is nothing throw back around him. Very overrated also. Out pointing a robot like AJ makes you one of the greats? lmao. He struggled with an old Chisora.
He doesn’t duck anyone - that’s what a throwback guy is. AJ is still a top heavyweight and Usyk creamed him. He beat Chisora in a competitive fight. He may be overrated by some but he’s proven himself every time against top level guys.
