Usyk schooled WK in sparring so much they kicked him out! True story.

Usyk will be a HW feather fist but a highly skilled one. A modern day Chris Byrd.. With psychopathic tendencies & very feel footwork.

This is exactly what I have been saying to the "golden era" idol worshippers about Ali all the time. They wont listen.

But Usyk is p4p better than Ali and he has more than enough power to knock the f out of Wilder at least.

Tell that to Moorer, Gomez, Mormeck, Jirov, Toney, Huck, Adamek, Tony 'im not fighting legit heavies cause they are too powerful' Bellew and virtually every other light heavy/cruiser who failed against 'overweight plodders'. Apart from Holyfield, a freak of nature who was on roids, and David Haye who had serious power to keep the heavies honest, sucessful cruiser to heavyweight conversions are very few and far between. People seriously under estimating heavyweight power and strength, especially when tough cruisers can already walk through Usyk best shots. Usyk vs Breidis 2 is a more logical fight. By all rights it was draw it was so close, there is still unfinished business at cruiserweight for Usyk.

This. Usyk like Crawford unified very an extremely weak division. If Usyk moves up and does the same at heavyweight than he'd deserve to be p4p # 1, since that would be impressive. I already knew he would beat scrubs like Briedis and Mchunu or the very ovrrrated Gassiev and a shot Huck. Cruiserweight is and always has been a mediocre division. Usyk was a very good fighter among mediocre fighters.

Briedis, Briedis, Briedis, you came only with that, but guess what Usyk beat him in his hometown and to me the score was far from close in favor in Usyk.
But just because Briedis do better then a lot of people think, they are now saying that Usyk is not so good, eh let me tell you something, this people knows nothing about boxing then.
Briedis did perfectly in that fight, yet Usyk did not, everyone can have a bad matchup style or can have a night off, but to cry when he won it fair and square, that is too much and show how little you know about boxing.
And in the highest level you cant expect 1 to always dominate the other one.
When the fight is on elite level, it`s normal to have a competive fight.
And Usyk doesn`t need to prove anything, he already do it.
He doesn`t even need to step on and go to HW.
He is a CW and he need to be good on CW.
In the HW he will be in a handicap against bigger and taller opponents, and still he can do very good there, but he doesn`t need it.

I wasn't rendering opinion on the HW division throughout history, merely at this present moment in time. Whyte, Breazeale, Miller and co are all, yes, overweight plodders who'd be a lot lighter were they to bother to get into shape. Maybe not CW, but certainly nowhere near what they currently weigh. Parker, Pulev, Povetkin and Ortiz are a little on the heavy side as well. No comment on Fury. Wilder and Jennings are about the only top HWs not bulked up on a ton of roids that are actually in decent condition for their frames, and neither man is substantially heavier than Usyk come fight night.

Usyk's not going to be fighting the likes of Lennox, Wlad, Bowe etc. The only fighter that really fits those dimensions at the moment is Joshua. The rest of the field is either overweight and slow, or near to his own size to begin with.

hes basically proven the top CW elite in 14 fights, thats the truth of it, damn good.

anyone claiming higher than this is lying, as is anyone claiming less.

But when people talk about Usyk dominating the heavyweight division, they’re clearly talking about him beating the elite fighters like Joshua. Of course Usyk would beat most of the plodders in the division, but that’s not what we’re talking about.

Also, the heavyweight division is unique. Yes, Usyk likely comes in closer to 210, but the heavyweight division in the one division where 40lbs can separate you and it’s ok.

Yes, I agree, everyone can have a bad night. Which is exactly why Usyk vs Breidis 2 is needed. How do you know it wasn't Breidis who simply had a bad night? And no, it's not only Breidis, its Hughie Fury too. If Usyk goes to heavyweight, hell make H.Fury look like a KO artist. I hope Usyk stays at cruiserweight, still plenty of good fights there, and Usyk vs Breidis 2 is on the cards.

    Nope! Not overhyped at all!

He's the heavyweight champion, and a legend in 19 fights.
