When at cruiserweight Usyk was sometimes fighting like three times a year even. After moving to heavyweight he does it once even that his first two fights were against a crappy fighter, an average one and a very good one (Joshua). He was the one calling Fury, but that is right - he is the only fighter that matters to him, for sure. Yet he now blurbs some excuses to delay the fight for some time in the next year. I just hope they do it at some point, both are great and a class above the rest, so may the better one win fairly.

In the last year he spent most of his time in the gym and in the army instead than with his family. Besides he needs to recover from two hard battles of 12 rounds with another giant.

An undisputed on December would be pure craziness. The right mounths could be May or June imo.

Personally I think February/March would be perfect, maybe April at latest

 

To blink is to doubt. Fury does not doubt. In fact getting hurt in boxing only hardens his resolve. He has always fought back harder when dropped or hurt which most men cannot do.

 

In normal conditions March/April would be ideal but from my perspective at least the first fight should be set not sooner than May considered the situation in Ukraine. Spend time with family is important for a fighter above all if your country is at war with another. Fury has not this kind of issues.

 

Imo Fury not even imagine what it means to live in Ukraine these days. Many Brits are used to drowning problems in alcohol and being often superficial. I think he should take a lot of lessons in humility from Usyk before to open his mouth as well as boxing.

Ali would act outrageous, but usually with charm, & not so personally vicious.
He is talking nonsense that Usyk does not have injuries, & Fury has avoided others AND frequent fights for years.
Even when he was not drugged out, depressed & really fat.

Usyk is 100X more classy.
It seems manipulative & unsportsmanlike-especially since I suspect he wants Usyk to fight before he is fully recovered.

And he is mentally challenged if he thinks a 6'3", 121 lbs. fit but not too bulky fighter is a MW.
Oh & for his height & subtract all Fury's body fat, Usy
AND he is widely thought to be ~ 6'7", not his listed 6'9", so why is he lying that he is 7'?
While per square inch & considering bodfat Percentage, Usyk has as much muscle per square inch
