Well ... take a step back and view it from a distance.

Imagine thinking a guy who fought at super heavyweight in the WSB and who was very successful ...

Who turned pro in 2013 as a heavyweight when Wlad Klitschko was the dominant champ and in the midst of a 10-year reign ...

Who changed his tune and decided it was best for him to move down and try to win a title at Cruiserweight instead of going after Wlad's championship and all the heavyweights standing between him and the title ...

Who didn't move up to heavyweight until he was well into his 30s ...

Whose first move was to petition the WBO to be moved ahead of everyone at heavyweight and be named mandatory so he wouldn't have to face any ranked heavyweight challengers ...

Who willingly accepted the Ring title after it was stripped from a "retired Tyson Fury" ...

Who then called out the "retired" Tyson Fury after the Joshua fight and said Fury is the only guy he wants (like calling out "retired" fighters and saying you'll only fight the "retired" guy and none of your challengers is a good look?) ...

And when Fury says "Okay, let's fight" ... says "I can't ... I have injuries."

I mean, you could say Usyk doesn't duck anyone.

You could also say Usyk ducked the Wlad and the whole division when he moved down to cruiserweight. You could say Usyk also ducked the heavyweight contenders today when he asked to be named mandatory at heavyweight without any fights there since his early career. And you could also say Usyk is ducking a Fury fight this year ... and maybe will never face him ... and may start dropping belts himself as he chooses not to face all his mandatories next year.

I could see it both ways.

We'll find out when the story plays out.

    CHILLING

Clear Fury wants it in December. Football date could break PPV records.

But no Usyk wants to hide and recover for his ass whooping.

Hope so. I'd like to see it. I was hoping we'd get it this year.

I'm starting to understand what it was like in the early 1930s when heavyweight titles were contested once a year or once every two.

Everyone has had a lot of time out of the ring. They all need to fight and keep fighting regularly. Seriously.

The morning after heavyweight title fights suck these days because the likelihood is you aren't going to see these guys in the ring again until same time next year. It's too goddamn long. There isn't that much stuff to talk about to fill in the gaps.

Fury is going down in my eyes with every single day passing by. Absolutely pathetic trying to handicap Usyk to fight in December, when Usyk just had a fight against top 3 opponent in the division, that is actually better than Fury(don't care what divas that know **** are saying about that).
When was exactly Fury fighting 3 months after he had a fight against top opposition ? Yeah never. He need a year + to get his *** in somehow decent shape to get in the ring.

The fight should be aimed at April, so both guys spend Christmas/New Year and the Holidays with their family and then begin the preparation.
And then Fury can receive his beating, and then if he grows a ball he can try with AJ and be brutally KO and people would understand that there is level to this game.

All the suckers are all starting to sway now and crying that Usyk is too small and needs time to rest.

Back your man all the way or get out.

All boxers have injuries, unless he is having surgery I don't want to hear about it.

    "Uh uh MUH FAMILY"

How about the 1 billion people who are tuning into the football in December who can push your fight deal to £100m each with ease?

It's all great sniping off the bodybuilder and everyone singing your praise but now it's time to face a real fighter.

Pretty sure Usyk will be ready for february, but then bipolar lard ass will go into hiding, prob will fall into depression again.
Usyk never ducked anyone while Fury is known for ducking.
He is a proven steroid cheat and a duck.

What about when your big dosser insisted on warm up fights before facing Wilder again.

I think Fury is pulling out all the stops because it's his second enormously huge, generational-wealth-type, potential $100 million payday for one fight opportunity going out the window ... similar to him losing the possible Saudi fight he thought he had against Joshua when, instead, he was forced by the courts to fight Wilder a third time.

Staging a unification with Usyk in December on the eve of the World Cup final would be a windfall for both.

But Usyk doesn't want it then. And Fury is focusing all his rage on Usyk.

That was a savvy business decision.

I like how Fury fanboys are ignoring the fact that Arum and Warren both said that the fight will be early next year, but now since Usyk said that he don't fight in December, he is ducking.

I still feel like he's ducking him. All this talk didnt happen untill Usyk said december wasnt an option for him
Before he didnt want none of it. And its been the same from the beginning.
Too small, not enough money, foreigner etc.

First he wants to fight Chisora, then he needs 500 mil when it isnt possible of course. Then december when its not on the table.
That feels like hey guys I tried, dont judge me for ducking eventhough I didnt really want it...

I hope im wrong though and they will fight within 6 months.
