That dude Usyk is just fantastic what he does in the ring. Moves like a Ali and has Teofilo Stevensons ring IQ. What a beast! Wilder could be his next victim and Usyk would make Wilder miss all night long and make look like a clown.

Just watched it. Made some early adjustments, demoralised a game opponent and put on a bit of a display there! Heading for p4p status for me. What's he had like 10 fights? Glowacki, Mchunu... Come on! Exceptional talent.

Actually, he's lucky Mchunu just showed up for the pay check. Usyk is good, but you all are over rating him a little bit. I see nothing that will get him over the top at heavyweight either. He isn't 6'6, he is like 6'2.

It's a figure of speech, meaning Mchunu didn't put forth a 100% effort.

So Roy had his height wrong during the broadcast? He said he was 6'2. Either way I still don't see the type of ability to get him over the hump at heavyweight, against the bigger guys. What's he going to do, pity pat them to death?

Maybe he just got shut down. Like Walters.. No that's silly of me. Mchunu actually would have beaten him in that other universe if..........

Not sure what fight you watched, but Mchunu didn't have much of a problem landing clean shots on Usyk. He just didn't come to fight. I'd of liked to see Mchunu try a little harder offensively. Usyk had a very hard time dealing with his slickness. That's all. I like Usyk, I just think he is a little over rated at this point. I'm not saying he isn't good, I think he's the best cruiserweight out there, but some of you are acting like he is Lomachenko, at cruiserweight, and he isn't.

The current trend at heavyweight in the Klitscho era, is good shorter boxers, can't navigate the reach of the good bigger boxers. Chris Byrd, Eddie Chambers, Povetkin, etc. haven't been able to navigate that reach. Usyk in my opinion doesn't utilize the proper defensive style to be able to handle that either. Sure he has good footwork, and pivots sometimes, but his defensive style is still high guard based, he isn't really a slick slipper like Rigondeaux, or Sweat Pea. High guard defenses get stuffed by good long jabs from bigger men. As you will see if Lomachenko ever fights Crawford.

Given the hype Usyk is getting, I'm going to pay much more attention to him and will catch up on more of his fights. Seems I've been sleeping on this one - happens when you follow about 10 sports.

By the time Usyk moves up, he won't be navigating Wladimir's jab. It will be Joshua's.

You mentioned Povetkin. What do you make if his repeated P.E.D. positives? He really a cheat or is it just another slander against Russians? I find it hard to believe a guy would be that dumb to try and take something when VADA is handling the testing.
