We can't be right about everything. There are so many hype jobs in this sport. What were the odds that Usyk would actually be as good as he was? Usually a good big man beats a good little man. His loss to Andy Ruiz changed Joshua, shook him mentally, and he lost his aura of invincibility; or else being at the top had it's usual corrosive effect and he took his foot off the gas.

Anyway, I thought that Joshua fought Usyk with a poor strategy and could have had him out early if he'd used more brute force because he was so much naturally bigger stronger and even faster. He had every physical advantage, yet he chose to box, where his skill was inferior.

I wouldn't be surprised if he'd swapped out the people who got him to the dance with a bunch of yes men cronies. You see that sometimes. A fighter looks mostly the same but becomes less dynamic, like when Tyson lost Cuss D'Amato or when Wladimir Klitschko lost Emanuel Steward.

Also, sometimes you take an unreasonable shine or dislike to fighters. You were picking Charles Martin and everyone else to beat Joshua, not just Usyk.

Well, while I was praising Usyk, as you alluded to, I was also chipping away at and denigrating AJ every chance I got, laying out all of his flaws on a silver platter, to anyone who was willing to listen. For anyone who paid even the vaguest amount of attention to what I was saying would've seen Usyk dominating him from a mile away as well. Quite frankly, the most impressive feat I pulled off, was laying out to the letter how and why Andy Ruiz would KO AJ.
Not To Say I Told You So... But, I Told You So! THANK YOU ANDY!

For the record, I wasn't picking just anyone to beat AJ. The Charles Martin match was coming on the heels of him almost being KO'd by a fat tub in Whyte, this was long before Whyte went on to barely eke out or be gifted a few solid victories, which caused everyone to start overrating the **** out of him too. Regardless, I picked Usyk to beat him and Fury, and made this thread proclaiming him the future, which I've been belligerently consistent on. Long before any of that silliness went down.
