    Sigh.

I have spread the gospel of Fury for over 7 years of my life now

One day I will rest in peace. That day is now near.

Yes Usyk is declining unlike in the first match against AJ he didn’t look like he could go a full 15rds. Still a 50/50 fight against fury though.

Downside ? i had Usyk winning 9-3 i thought it was a masterful performance, over a top 3 ranked dangerous hard hitting Heavyweight. Anytime Joshua had success Usyk would take it away from immediately, like when Joshua had his best round in the 9th Usyk came roaring out in the 10th round, and battered Joshua even Joshua's hardest right hand in the 10th didn't stop Usyk.

Those are not signs of a fighter on the downside, Usyk boxed a great fight and his movement, defence, jab, conditioning, all looked fine to me.

Fury saw nothing tonight that would keep him in retirement and avoid the Usyk fight like a few on here are saying. Usyks face was not marked up at all tonight like in the first fight but Joshua certainly had more moments in this rematch than he ever did in the first fight . Just a shame Joshua took the mic at the end .

    I had Usyk winning 10-2.

Winning a fight isn't the same as showing signs of aging.

Again, I'm a middle aged guy (above 45 years old) and I know exactly how the aging process works for an athlete.

His cardio is starting to slip. I think the reflexes just a tad bit too. But definitely the cardio.

That doesn't mean he's not the best fighter in the world. He is. But physically he's peaked.

    That's all I'm saying.

Joshua fought a different fight and landed some hammering body shots, and yet it was Usyk who came on strong in the championship rounds. If there was signs of Usyk's cardio looking suspect it would of been right there and then.

You make good points but i respectfully disagree.

Dont think its ageing....more just sticking weight on like he has. Absolute credit that hes been able to do that and still beat a much naturally bigger heavier man. Will be interesting to see if hes really an absolute one off....or joshuas just a weak link.

Think its a bit of both tbh. Usyk is a one off. Joshuas a bit of a weak link tho. Probably an ever bigger challenge taking on an even bigger better fighter in fury. At what point does it become unwinnable due to the disparity in size/weight etc. Hopefully we find out. I think its a bit of a no lose fight for usyk tho tbf. Giving away sk much in natural size/height....on the verge of a freak show.

    Fair enough.

I'm not saying the body shots didn't sap Usyk some. They probably did. I still think his cardio has slipped.

    Not much, just a tad.

But his cardio is 100x most fighters, still. It's just that the way he fights, as a heavyweight, he needs his speed, reflexes and cardio. To deal with the super heavyweights.

He's good. The only real fight left for him is Fury. For sure Usyk can be in excellent shape for that fight. Even a dual or trio of those fights.

AJ was way more awkward this time and defended better. He was just eating punches like tic tacs in the first fight and didn't work the body at all. Usyk didn't want to give AJ any space to load up on those body shots.

No his fitness is still top notch. He was on his toes the whole fight constantly feinting, pivoting, slipping and throwing punches from all angles.

Usyk's face is a lot less marked up than it was in Tottenham. Joshua hardly landed anything on him upstairs.

People forget that it was 35 degree in the Saudi. And i think Usyk energy was as good as ever(since he move to HW). He throws a lot of shots, which is what people forget to mention. I think he throw and land more shots than the first bout.

Yeah just what i though, he throws almost 200 punches more compare to the first fight.
Here is the CompuBox from the second fight.

Who the **** throws 712 punches at HW ???

Fury will be destroyed, his cardio will be gone after 6 rounds when Usyk puts him under pressure and throwing 700+ punches at him.
