Usyk is the best thing to happen to the HW this decade

I happen to be of the opinion that both Usyk and Fury are great for the sport, albeit for different reasons.

 

Absolutely. Great achievement.

 

there are several boxers who haven't suffered a knockdown.

fact is, Usyk has not scored a knockdown or knockout or stoppage at heavyweight & has fought 1 rated opponent+ 1 gatekeeper

if he's best thing to happen to heavyweight in a decade that shows how **** boxing has become

 

this not controversial or an attack on Usyk's ability
just standards apply to the state of the heavyweight division at any time

if the best thing in the division is not knocking anyone out that's something to be dissatisfied with
especially when we know judges are likely to make bad decisions sooner or later

I know it's not Political Correct , but I do want to see blood and knockouts sometimes at heavyweight

 

Yeah beating a guy who is labelled a body builder in here and 2 other heavyweight bums and suddenly he is the best thing to happen in HW in decades?!?! Uysk is talking of having just one more fight at HW against Fury....no matter how that goes i think some folk are getting a touch over excited ffs

 

Nah, Fury lays claim to this.

The man who released all the belts that had been under the clutches of Klitschko for years on end.... then went over to the states after being on the sniff for a few years and knocked seven shades of **** out of America's darling......... and took his nice shiny belt too.

 

He is without doubt. He’s grown on me that’s for sure, there’s no discrediting what he’s achieved.

 

Couldn't agree more. Boxing IS an art. Usyk has yet to give us his masterpiece.

 

This sport, and more specifically the fans of this sport, do not deserve Usyk.

We are beyond fortunate.

Wilder/Fury/Aj have proven to be the shitshow 'saviors' of HW division. We should all be glad Usyk is in the HW division. Diva-less champ atop the division is what we need. Sick of all this 'will they, won't they fight?" crap for YEARS.

Crazy how people think that usyk proved that skill can overcome size when he beat the most overhyped fighter of this century. He dindt even fight wilder and fury and would lose by ko to both of them.
