    Right.
Yea, I don´t think you will find many who agree with this.

Don't forget Dempsey retired a giant after near murdering him in the ring.

    Usyk avenged Wlad.
Both in the case of Fury, and in the case of AJ.
He is already a CW and HW ATG.

    What for?

Before that lucky nose punch Usyk was dismantled by Fury.

What I don’t understand is Usyk’s fanboys claiming 116-111. It was very close fight and only thanks to KD it was scored in favour of Usyk and that speaks volume about the fight.

New King of the Gypsies as well.

More traveller spirit than the whole Fury clan combined.

    Usyk’s resume blows Crawford’s away.

    I myself had it 7-5.
There was nothing lucky about the punch. Nor was Fury dismantling Usyk. Sure, he won a string of rounds but it´s not like Usyk didn´t have his moments in those rounds, as they were close. The only exception was the 6 round in which Fury clearly hurt Usyk. And even then Usyk landed quite a few clean shots of his own. Usyk then came back strong in the 7th and took the round, making the fight arguably 4-3 in favor of Fury. And even if you scored the 7th for Fury, it was a close round and Usyk edged his way back into the fight.

8th was a clear Usyk round as he took control. And the cut happened in the last 50 seconds. So, Usyk regained his composure in the 7th and had a dominant 8th. Dismantling and lucky punch my ass.

    yeah whatever.

Until the 7th round lucky nose punch Usyk basically was loosing the fight with each round getting deeper into trouble.

rewatch the fight, will do the same.

I readily concede the point that Usyk has a better resume.

My point was to dispute the nonsensical notion that it's been "ages" since an American was in the discussion etc.

Crawford is no worse than the #3 P4Per on the planet.

Not just that, but done it at 37,5 years old clearly way past his best.
