He's not wrong. But 30% is fine. Usyk can't draw flies compared to Fury. I don't know why that's such an outrageous thought. He can't be making any demands.
Answer this then: Fury was negotiating with the Saudis and he was there to suck up to the prince when his brother had that silly little sparring session with that YouTuber. He even teased that there was some big announcement coming, and he posted this under a picture where he posed with the Saudi prince. Then nothing happened and soon after that, the Saudis struck an exclusive deal with Usyk. Ever since then, no Fury fan has been able to answer the simple question this situation begs: how come? How come that the ‘big draw’ Fury was there first, he talked to the Saudis first, and they still didn’t want to sign a deal with him, but opted instead for the ‘no draw worth only 30% foreigner that nobody knows’ Usyk. How come? The Saudis want income and global exposure. Why did they go for Usyk then?
Pretty sure his new Saudi management and some private sponsors are subsidizing the alleged $5m purse. It's a rough deal. People keep crying about Fury and Usyk deserves a certain split but the money speaks for itself and determines who gets what even if people think Usyk deserves more.
Sure, 20% isn't serious. For the boxing fans, it's 50:50 (or close, like 60:40), outside of the hardcore fans it might be different - that's how boxing is. For Usyk's own manager, Fury is the bigger draw. For the Saudis who signed with Usyk, it is still Fury that is the bigger draw and regardless of who signed with who (the Saudis don't care about Usyk's title defence and the miserable money put there), it is again Fury that will do an exhibition with Ngannou on their soil (while the Saudi's own guy will fight in Poland) and will get similar to the money AJ got against Usyk. Those are the facts. The rest is the delusion and the anger of some hardcore sectarians who can't live up to them. That's because he is too noble - don't you know that?
Money should not be a problem, if someone is fighting for the legacy. Bivol started to say BS like that and then money was the problem with Beterbiev fight.
You are The only rough deal at the moment is for the true British boxing fans, Fury followers or not. He's mugging off all of us. A Mickey Mouse fight against a none boxer, there are amateurs out there that would give him a better run for his money.
Usyk excepted the 30%. Somehow the fight still did not materialize. Bottom line, if Fury wanted it, it would have happened.
Fury is burning through his political capital. At this point it's nearly Usyk deserves 50/50 because people are fed up with Fury.
Honestly only people here . You do not hear anywhere fury took a serious blow in popularity . Since i do not guess the boxing circus is ruled by user opinion of this forum fury can still lay back since he is still WAY more popular than usyk .
