Why are interviewers so annoying .. they ask the most stupid and inane questions.. oleksandr will you win tomorrow night.... lol what do you expect him to say no? fk me,
Yea, Usyk was not going to throw it away like many others by being undisciplined with the weight. Perfect weight for him to be fast & last if need be. It's fascinating to see how much AJ risks by being agressive and what happens if he gets countered or fatigued. On another note Zheng coming in like Fury near 280. We'll see if bully tactics work and for how many rounds. Has power for sure.
If Usyk cops one of AJ's bombs, it's good night nurse - he is going to need the speed. Big size difference.
Big if, and he didn't cop anything close in the previous 12 rounds. He also copped an absolute peach from Gassiev and although his legs wobbled a bit, he had the IQ and savvy to keep the poker face and not give Gassiev a sniff. I actually think the worst thing for AJ could be thinking he has Usyk hurt, loading up and then gassing shortly after by punching himself out. 4 extra pounds for AJ just means more oxygen getting burned unless he can use his strength and bulk to manhandled / roughhouse Usyk, and if anything in the 1st fight it looked to me that Usyk was - if not actually stronger - at least far cleverer and savvy in the clinch. REally interested to see if Joshua can show us a side to his game that we haven't really seen since Wlad - with Ruiz having made him safety first.
I've said it multiple times, but Usyk looked like he had been in a war after the first fight, despite the fact AJ barely really landed anything on him..... I'd be concerned what Usyk looks like if he takes a few huge hits.
As expected. I’m grateful they didn’t fabricate any fake animosity between these guys, the ol’ “this time it’s PERSONAL” bull****. Like Canelo does almost every fight these days. Or when they have to hold one guy back during the stare down, pro wrestling antics. It’s a fight between two top guys. These guys are both very likeable, both are sportsmen and great representatives of the sport. Boxing is a gentlemens’ sport. I know it’s combat but with rules. Let the best man win and here’s to a great scrap between these guys. I like Usyk and expect him to dominate more than the first meeting. If he fights the same fight, AJ will have no answer. I don’t expect AJ to be on his feet at the final bell. Usyk takes him into deep waters and finishes him off.
Also; why is Buffer announcing it as ‘AJ vs Usyk’ at the weigh in? Joshua is the challenger. It’s ridiculous how many marginal gains they try to give Joshua.
