Weird how the AJ casual army on social media keep conveniently forgetting that the far smaller supposed non puncher Usyk not only busted AJ's eye up but hurt him with a solitary left hand in round three and hurt him again and had him in trouble in the dying seconds of round 12. AJ was in a terrible state in his corner. He was hyperventilating like an asthmatic catfish and he looked like he was in the midst of a full-blown panic attack. Not saying he was but that's how it looked. One more round and he was 100% getting KTFO and everyone knows that. But Usyk suffered a couple of bruises under his eyes and a bad cut which likely came from a head clash. It certainly looked like a head clash cut to me. This content is protected
Seems like he marks up easily, then. Facial damage really isn't a great indicator of how hurtful punches have been - it just shows they landed and that some fighters show their war wounds more easily than others. Even something as basic as skin colour is a huge factor in terms of visual damage, and what appear to be just stiff jabs can raise a bruise on anyone...
AJ is not a system 9 fighter. To use system 9 you have to be trained by Anthony Yarde’s Uncle Tunde. We are going to see how system 9 fares against Beterbiev.
And he hit Joshua so hard in the last round it made his tongue leave his mouth and paralysed his facial muscles to such an extent they formed what could easily have been mistaken for a smile...
He weighs 4 more pounds but looks stronger and leaner. It’s an excellent weight for him to do damage.
Personally I'm glad Usyk didn't bulk/muscle up and come in like a "real HW", there's absolutely no reason for him to. He can maneuver all these guys into oblivion. Another Usyk UD, possibly late stoppage this time
A guy who is put down and keeps getting up is no quitter. One thing we do know about you is that you are stupid, that we do know.
So bloody what. Erroll Spence gum shield came out against DSG and. Ugas and only an idiot thinks Spence is a quitter.
