I stand by what I said that a guy who keeps getting up to fight when put down is no quitter nor a guy who goes into an immediate rematch. You guys who call him a quitter would love to see how you guys react to being hit by the shots he took.
Not sure why because the size difference between them at the face offs and the size difference between Usyk and his sparring partners was huge. Usyk looks tiny compared to AJ
None of us are professional boxers so that’s a silly straw man argument of 0 relevance. Spitting his gum shield out vs Ruiz was a quit unfortunately. Call a spade a spade for once and don’t let your silly agenda get in the way. I commend him for taking rematches such as Usyk in fairness.
Your. Comments were stupid today, yesterday and they will be stupid tomorrow irrespective of the result.
I don't think he quit against Fat Andy but I don't credit him for taking the rematches. Usyk was his mandatory so there shouldn't have even been a rematch in the first place and he's the one who made that stipulation according to a recent interview with Alex Krassyuk. And Usyk whooped the ass of the way bigger man in his backyard where everything was stacked heavily against him and in AJ's favour. It wasn't close and Usyk shouldn't have to beat him twice to progress to the final and the fact AJ will immediately progress to the final should he win and there has been zero talk of a third fight and Usyk being granted an opportunity to avenge the loss should he lose is disgusting. AJ clearly hates the fact he lost to someone like Usyk and that humiliation and embarrassment is what's fueling him.
AJ Vs Ruiz 1 reminded me of only fools and horses - when Rodney chased that mugger and once he caught him the mugger started chasing Rodney. Coming in more aggressive will leave AJ open and he looks wobbly every time a decent punch lands.
AJ has the look of a beaten man , even sweating from the stare down. its getting exciting to see what he does differently though
For the record, regarding AJ-Ruiz I, it was the blown up LHW that took the biggest punches in that fight. The combo Ruiz took to knock him down and the follow-ups were absolutely FAR bigger punches than anything he landed on AJ. AJ is a far bigger puncher given his incredible lean mass size advantage. Ruiz didn't quit from those bombs. Yet AJ quit from far less powerful shots. That's because AJ has less courage and is a bully-type quitter.
It shows how clueless people are here because they haven’t been in a gym themselves and don’t know the significance of 15kg. Usyk looked the same and one video with downward lighting had forum experts taking a fit.
Amazed me that people genuinely thought he'd be 15kg heavier. Even if juiced, that would be a huge ask for a couple of months.
This might just be me but I felt Joshua looked like he didn't really fancy the job here with Usyk. I actually thought this would be like Wilder vs Fury 3 and come down to who wanted it more and who had more heart but now I'm starting to heavily favour Usyk. We know Usyk is going to dig deep and wants this I don't think Joshua is going to be fully committed to this aggressive approach and I think his stamina won't hold up either.
