If he remained retired then Usyk could be considered as lineal, but as they are inevitably going to fight anyhow it will be (properly) settled in the ring. Fury isn't retired until he has no belts and is out of the drug test pool

He announced his retirement. He willingly surrendered the lineal title.

You sound like a 12 year old coming out with such rubbish.Fury has "retired" at least 40 times. What makes this time any different? He's clearly not retired. You're obviously desperate for him to retire, though. lol

Again, he has "retired" countless times while holding lineal status. What makes this time any different?

Don't forget ... first fighter with a Cossack haircut to win a HW title fight.

He confirmed he was retired to Ring Magazine, and gave up The Ring belt. That's as one to vacating the lineal title as you get

How could he win the ring and lineal titles, when there's already a ring and lineal champion? Unless Fury is truly retired (and let's be honest, none of us think he really is), then this isn't true.

Wrong. Tyson Fury is the current WBC champion, therefore he is not retired, therefore he is still the lineal champion.

So then it isn't Fury, it's Tunney.

You're not arguing with me, Fury is the one who retired.

Ask him, he's the one who retired, not me.

I don't think any boxing fan in the world wants him to retire. Fury vs Usyk is the biggest fight that can be made.

So yes you do sound a bit like a 12 year old, but you'll learn with age.
