he beats wilder and povetkin yes.. parkers handspeed might cause him trouble. as for Joshua if he can withstand Joshua power first 5-6 rounds I think he dominates him late.

 

To be fair I agree with you on Povetkin, he's an excellent pressure fighter, cuts off the ring well and has bricks for fists, but how well will he age in the next two years? As for size, isn't Usyk quite a hefty cruiser already? I think he walks around at 220-225 and he definitely looks like he cuts a fair bit of weight to make 200.
I think he can do quite well at HW, perhaps not dominate, but more than hold his own. He's considerably better technically and considerably more intelligent than anybody in the top two divisions in my opinion.

 

I dunno. I agree with what you say, actually (except I give him little to no chance vs. Joshua). But let us not forget Michael freakin' Hunter was outsmarting him off and on and for small stretches within rounds much more frequently throughout their 12 rounds than a lot of people hyping his IQ seem to want to acknowledge.

 

Huck is only 32 but already shot, this is what Canelo is gonna look like in his early 30's.

 

Imagine Usyk with 15-20 extra pounds of muscle on his frame? most are missing this piece of info when factoring in how he will do at HW.

 

Yep. Also he's handled Super Heavyweights already without a problem. Used his movement and boxed their ears off.

 

If Joyce impresses at HW then the critics of Usyk will have to eat some crow... Usyk completely dominated Joyce in WSB. You'd have to be insane to say that Usyk doesn't have a chance in the division... The only guys I'd make a heavy favorite over him are Joshua or Povetkin.

 

I'd like to see Usyk move up to HW after he wins this tournament (can't see anybody beating him), nothing left for him at CW.

 

Very very good fighter. Time will tell. I am not ruling anything out. Good or bad.

 

Nobody is a heavy favorite over Usyk!
