You know Usyk will not fight him and his fans who are supposed to be the boxing fans will cover him at all cost.
Yeah brother honestly doe I’m rooting for Bakole hoping it gets him into the mix and Parker away from fighting Usyk and holding up the division, just not a fun a fighter and I’m positive he losses to Usyk, rather watch him fight Fury… Bakole is the size of a dinosaur, busy and not very blooded so I wanna see his ceiling and put in the mix… at the least we might see Dubois vs Bakole and Kabayel vs Usyk, I think those are the best fights to be made for the fans considering we’ve got AJ vs Fury to look forward to, sad to see Zhang go he was so close to a shot and if he didn’t get Usyk (Terrible idea) he may have wasted DDD.
I hope they aren't hypocritical They say Usyk is the goat because he always travels and picks the toughest tests I think usyk is just like every other fighter and will bend the knee to the highest bidder. This holier than now s..t needs to stop. He's a great fighter yes, but he fought away from home often, because he was following the money. Nobody is going to fight in Ukraine even pre war
Nobody in history could beat Usyk because Usyk barely beat a faded Chisora year after David Haye destroyed him. Beat Joshua a fighter called a slow robotic bodybuilder after Andy Ruiz destroyed Joshua first. Then beat a drugged out Tyson Fury who did nothing in his career besides run from a 40 year old Wlad 11 years ago. A Fury who is so bad he could barely beat Francis Nggano a MMA fighter who had zero pro bouts. This makes Usyk the most skilled heavyweight in boxing history even though he is a cruiserweight with only 7 bouts at heavyweight There is no way Usyk is going to fight Kabayel and if does there is no chance he isn't getting stopped
Stop hating, he's better than Ali, despite Ali having to dominate the division in two separate decades, while wrongfully being banned I know I said I would ease up on usyk, but you need to be a clinical moron to have him ahead of Ali, never mind the goat lol
Sorry, missed your thread, and started a similar one. Yeah, I completely agree. In fact, I think it is ridiculous the hoops he is being made to jump through. WBC#3, Mahkmudov > WBC#2 Sanchez > WBC interim vs Zhang. I've pointed out the difference before, but Top HW wins on route to a first title shot: Fury: Cunningham, Chisora, Hammer Joshua: Johnson, Cornish, Whyte Wilder: Harrison, Liakhovitch, Scott Parker: Takam, Haumono, Dimitrenko Dubois: Cusumano, Bryan, Lerena Usyk: (WBO CW champion route), Witherspoon, Chisora
He fought Chisora from the outside 7 years ago and made easy work of it, something Usyk couldn't do btw
Not sure what kabayel did to earn a shot this early. Zhang is a good win, but not enough to earn a shot. Would prefer him to fight parker or dubois
The point being he adjusts his style to what is needed. Maybe you are correct that Usyk will box his head off, but saying he can't box from the outside because he exposed flaws in his opponents by going to the body doesn't compute
Saying he can box from the outside because he did so against Chisora isn't saying much. Everyone boxes Chisora from the outside. It's a good game plan even if it's not your forte which, in Kabayel's case, it isn't. Styles make fights. Usyk boxes his head off.
I agree that Parker should also be in line for a title shot. But I don't know what you are basing it off if you don't rate Kabayel stopping a guy that Parker scraped past in his last fight. Parker took a bad loss to Joyce, beat Wilder (who let's be honest looks done with boxing), scraped past Zhang, stops a 2-days notice Bakole Kabayel just fought WBC#3 contender followed by WBC#2 contender followed by interim against Zhang. He's undefeated, was EBU champion including making light work of everyone's favourite, Chisora
