Nah, what "natural weight" - he's a professional athlete for most of his life. He's 191 cm., so 90 is maybe even a bare minimum before starting looking too skinny.
Usyk will be 220 lbs again, nothing to see here. It was the same thing before the Joshua fights: "Usyk's looking old, he's too skinny, Tyson-Spinks, Liston-Patterson". He'll be in what he believes is the best possible condition for Fury.
He has the look of the type of guy that when he asks you " WHAT THE F DID YOU SAY" you either think real fast on what to say to defuse a potentially difficult situation or get ready for a tough fight LOL
There was a message over the picture that this subject matter might be offensive and I had to click to view it. Thats where we are currently at now? lol.... men flexing is now deemed possibly offensive. I suppose thats the natural progression of our current momentum but lol. jk Im sure it had to do with the flag but still just thought it was funny and wouldnt have suprised me in todays climate
Meh… Fury will come in 270-275 regardless. What difference will it make for Usyk coming in 225 or 215. His Speed and angles will win the day. Usyk will also have enough Pop to keep Fury honest at 215. I’d wager that sweeping left strook (Mix between a straight and hook he hurt Joshua with) will hurt Fury a few times.
Those 10 lbs can make a serious difference if gained properly, which he can do. Plus, he's tall enough to be around 225 and he'll need it to resist a heavier opponent. I see very often Usyk fans accusing Fury for being big - well, he simply is big - he's 206 cm tall and it wasn't his choice, was it - the lowest he can be and I think he should be is around 245 lbs. It's like saying "Usyk will use his speed" - he's gifted speed, so he'll use it. Fury's gifted size - he'll use it, will be *diotic not to.
He isn't though. He is 201 cm or 6'7 tall, always has been. It's just a thing with certain fighters to lie about their height. Mike Tyson was never 5'11.5, Canelo was never 5'9, and Fury is not 6'9. He even admitted it himself to Wallin that he was 6'7: This content is protected Also, you can see in many pictures that he is shorter than a 6'8 David Price. So either Price has always been at least 6'10 but never claimed to be or Fury has been lying about being 6'9. Not only that, but there are several pictures of Fury standing next to legit 6'9 people (Magic Johnson, Thor Bjornsson) and he is visibly a good 2 inches shorter than them. Not that it matters much as 6'7 is still a giant of a man. But that's exactly the point: when you are already legit 6'7, why lie about being 6'9? When you are genuinely that tall, what difference does it make to claim to be 2 inches taller?
I've no problem with you being biased towards Usyk and 100% not liking Fury, but sometimes you are exaggerating - Fury lies about his height? He's a bit taller than Wilder who's 6'7 (201 cm). Maybe Fury is like 6'8 and 3/4, I mean 203-204-205 cm, but even if he is 201, which he clearly isn't, it's 10 cm over Usyk with a serious reach advantage. The only place where they lie about sizes is the pro-wrestling, but I think we all know the reason for. Doing so in other sports where you even do staredown with your opponent isn't going to help you. Tyson Fury's real height ? | Boxing News 24 Forum (boxingforum24.com)
I'm not sure any of this has anything to do with Usyk. I simply don't like Fury being quoted as 6'9 because I don't like obvious untruths. It's not a subjective thing, it's not up for debate, and it's not "oh, but we can't know for sure". We can - just look at the pictures of him standing next to Price or Bjornsson, or watch the video I linked in my previous post. In this day and age, when you have tons of pictures of him standing next to legit 6'9 people and being clearly shorter by a good two inches and also you have him on video saying himself to Wallin that he is indeed 6'7 (I mean, you still say "maybe Fury is like 6'8 and 3/4" - you don't believe even your own ears?), it's baffling how this 6'9 myth can still live on. If he is quoted to be 6'9 in some rubbish tabloid like Daily Mail, fine. But here, on a boxing forum, where supposedly knowledgeable boxing fans discuss things, seeing this "Fury is 6'9" myth popping up all the time is really odd.
At the 50-second mark, Momoa asks Fury if he's 6'6 or something, and when Tyson says 6'9, Jason sizes him up and says, damn! This content is protected
