Agreed. Usyk won easier than a lot of people believe. Best you can really give fury is probably 3-3 after six. Usyk defo won them first 2 rounds. Tbf to fury tho due to usyks reaction to furys punches in furys big rounds....the next fight if it does happen will be a worthy rematch. Usyk a big favourite but by no means a foregone conclusion. I think usyk beats him again handily in another competetive enough fight. But anything can happen if fury capatalises if an oppurtunity does come along.
The fight was objectively close. Those who had it wide for Usyk are doing exactly that, looking for reasons to give Usyk all the close rounds. "only* giving Fury 4-6, when 1-3, 7, 11, 12 could go either way. It's no surprise that it's Usyk fans, who boldly predicted Usyk would win, ended up scoring it wide for him. Confirmation bias 101.
I scored it 7-5 for Usyk. Think it couldve been 6-6 with Usyk winning cause of a knockdown. Think giving Fury the nod wouldve been a stretch. There were some close rounds. It was a very competitive fight people just want to rag on Fury.
I think Hatman explain it perfectly how casuals don't have a clue and fell for Fury showboating thinking he is doing something, when he clearly isn't. This content is protected And looking at the score of some people, he is 100% correct.
I haven't watched it again yet & was in the pub but I scored it: Rds 1- 3 Usyk Rds 4-7 Fury Rds 8-12 Usyk So 8-4 Usyk plus the knockdown in Rd 9
Yes. I've seen those that have given him the first and eleventh also. Even eight! I think when people sober up a bit (which the Fury and Wilder fans never will, though) this will be seen as an even more comfortable victory than his second over Joshua.
Of course it was a highly competitive fight, it's bonkers to reduce that thriller into a ho-hum "easy to score" Usyk wide decision. That kind of thinking reduces the fight itself. We witnessed an incredible comeback by Usyk, why exaggerate the win. And then we have trolls like lordy insisting that Usyk was robbed of a KO in the 9th. The level of delsuion here is unncessary. Let Usyk's dramatic comeback win stand on its own two feet, to embellish the win to is totally unncessary. It was a great win as it occurred, let it breathe. Usyk doesn't need the kind of "help" to make his win look better than his fans think he does. It was great just how it was.
Shut your mouth you biased troll This content is protected AI scoring, which was official for this fight, and paid by Turki, had the fight 10-2. Just because you are living in a pinky room and don't have a f**** clue how Boxing is scoring and you are head is deep in Fury and Clenbuterolos, the 2 biggest cheaters in Boxing history, doesn't mean you know a *****. You are one of the most biased posters on here that everyone should put on ignore, and you chat only to yourself and all of your all accounts. Usyk outlanding Fury by double or triple amount, landing the clean and hard shots, landing more impactful shots, and this troll is saying this or that round could go either way. He was pulling same mental gymnastics when his girlfriend Clenela was schooled by Bivol and he was all over the place laughed and mocked by everyone. Now shut your mouth, as i send you on ignore again. If you want anyone to have any normal conversation with you little kid, be objective. You cannot claim this or this could be this or that, when Boxing has a clear criteria of scoring, and when what matters at the end is the punches landed, the clean punches, the impactful one, and so on. You can name any criteria there is, as effective aggression, clean punches, amount of punches, impactful punches, Ring generalship, who is the pressure fighter, better defense, and Usyk wins every single one by a huge margin. Go now watch the AI video and their scoring having the fight 10-2, just like it should be, and comeback with your tongue out of Fury ***, and tell us again how this was a close fight. I may unignore you for 1 single second to shut your mouth once again.
With respect... 1) I was replying to @AdamT who engages in respectful back and forth - he sits down on his perspectives (as do I), but our reasonings come from different angles... NOT biases or fanboyism. 2) Even if I were talking to someone who was a biased fanboy (which, again, I wasn't) - no, you can't just throw facts and expect people like that to swallow... In many cases those types aren't operating on that basis in the first place - so giving them angles they don't value isn't worth much. 3) ("Internet Dad" lesson time) In general, speaking with people on forums that disagree with you is for two reasons - firstly is if it's someone you have respect for and know will engage honestly (and might challenge and/or make things interesting for you). - secondly is to persuade anyone reading who's undecided to see it your way (the internet is full of lurkers!), if you care about that... Taking the most extreme and hard-line position rarely achieves anything in either instance - even if it's defensible.
GTFOH with your Usyk nuthuggery. He won a close fight, end of story. You scoring the 4th round to Usyk and claiming it was a "clear" Usyk round shows you are completely and utterly in la-la-land. Even your other Usyk wide scoring comrades gave Round 4 to Fury. You're completely delusional.
I scored this round for Usyk, but it's no mystery why people scored this round for Fury. Fury controlled the first 2:30 of the round, Usyk then finished the round strong in the last 30 seconds with an incredible barrage of punches. The end of the round was enough for me to swing the round in Usyk's favor, but gaddamn you're blind if you are totally clueless as to why people gave that round to Fury. Take off the fanboy glasses and learn how to score troll.
I'll give you that, 7 certainly could go either way, 1 and 2 for me were Usyk round and I don't know how you could ever give them to Fury, round 3 was a very close round as well. So Usyk - 1,2,8,9,10,11 Fury 4,5,6 Close rounds, 3,7,12 And in rd3 and rd12 Usyk outlanded Fury but I could see them going to Fury if you really tried.
