No, not off just one win.

I have no problem with Usyk taking 2-3 warmup fights to test the waters at heavyweight, since he’s going to need a fight or two to see what a comfortable weight at heavyweight will be for him.

Garcia on the other hand picked Spence because Spence despite his talent and size is still very raw and inexperienced.

Once again some people go nuts about Usyk and talk crap about him. Guys just relax... stay calm and enjoy the show. He has the rights to do whatever he wants and you are basically nobody to tell him does he needs a warm up fight or not.

In fairness this is a forum - so discussing opinions is kind of the entire point..

Well at least when someone has an opinion he should defend it and show some arguments so a discussion might be able to start. WRONG WAY OF DOING IT:
What are his estimations, because I don't see them anywhere...

Wtf is this? Mikey already competed at 140. He won a BS title at 140(Lipiniets never beat a top 10 opponent).

Highly debatable Povetkin was up 4-2 on Joshua before almost getting decapitated. What matter's is the end result. Im NOT -- and I mean NNNOOOOOTTTTT -- an AJ fan in any way shape or form, but he's an excellent fighter with a rare combination of talent, skill, and IQ. AJ went into the fight with a brilliant game plan, and he executed it to a "T" and the primary reason he KO'd Povetkin when he did and with the punch he did is because he expertly set up the shot. In real-time i'm sure it seemed to many that Povetkin was winning or at least doing better than they expected until he got KO'd, only to find in retrospect that AJ totally outsmarted him and outfoxed him.

If that same fight took place and Povetkin was 28 years old instead of almost 40, I'm highly skeptical not only would the end result not change in the slightest, but that the fight would have lasted just about the same amount of rounds if not the exact same. I'm as Pro-Wilder as any poster on this forum so believe me, it feels like a sledgehammer to the balls anytime I say anything about AJ that's not negative.

All time elite, right now; nobody. There are not Ray Robinsons, Leonards, Ali's or even Joe Calzaghes, right now. I have my top 4 as Crawford, Canelo, Garcia, Joshua and GGG.

Joe calslappy was not elite and lol @ joshua and ggg as one is stiff as hell and another one is old and past prime. Usyk is head and shoulders above joshua skillwise. Btw Loma is better than anybody now and def more elite than calslappy.

bull. spence is a p4p level talent and 6 months ago nobody wanted to fight him.
as far a usyk, no shame in him testing the waters in whatever manner he sees fit, its the smart thing to do. but we also have to recognize and reward those that do it in a bolder way. arguello going up to challenge pryor was not great because of the jump in weight, it was because of the fighter he was going up in weight to fight. spence is mikeys pryor, and hes going up to see him as a first test in his 5th division. 5th.
