Heavyweight is grown folks business and he is not built for bodies after 200lbs. He will be a great all time cruiser, unless John Ruiz comes back and Usyk fight him for a title, its KO season waiting for him. That doped up Povetkin that fought Dauhaupas would murder slap happy Usyk. I joke a little but come on guys, hoping divisions is some dangerous stuff. We just watched Lomachenko fight for his life for that win after out shining and out sizing Rigondeaux . Rigo had no business at 130 anything. Usyk is good for his division .
This content is protected This content is protected Usyk would do just fine at Heavyweight. But you are right, he is good for the division.
I wanna see it happen but fights against Lebedev and Bellew wouldn’t go amiss. Usyk at HW I’m well interested in seeing, his work rate is insane and I still get the feeling he has more to show.
He should remain at cruiserweight for awhile, at least. Lebedev is a good name for his resume, and a Bellew fight at 200 would be interesting and make him some decent money. Perhaps after that, he might move up to heavyweight.
Usyk is 31 and needs to move up to HW ASAP Perhaps a Bellew fight is lucrative and good for ranking points at HW? Then he should take it as he destroys Bellew. He needs to fight at HW - there is nothing left to prove at CW.
He is one of the best, he can stay at CW or go to HW as far as I'm concerned. There are still good interesting fights for him a Cruiser, but plenty of interesting fights that can make him a buttload of coin at Heavy. Don't matter to me, as long as he keeps doing what he does.
We need to see what form Lebedev is in first. If he looks old and shot, what’s the point of that fight
Usyk is good for the heavyweight division, he has no competition at cruiserweight and he is the only cruiserweight who could be a top 5 heavyweight, i don't want to see him against mediocre fighters like Lebedev, i want to see him against the big boys.
Let him move up with the big boys and dare to be great like his only competition for greatest Cruiser Holyfield did. No shame in losing to bigger men if he does, Bob foster cleaned out LHW and move up to heavyweight, he is still remembered as one of the greatest at that weight division. Lebedev isn’t a factor he was beaten by Gassiev and pulled a punk move by not putting both belts on the line and I like Lebedev he gave us a lot of great fights but he doesn’t deserve a title shot with what he has done recently.
Can somebody translate this barely legible, tangential diatribe properly? I think I got the gist of it, that he's upset about Rigo & there is hope in divisions but just for clarity purposes...
