Usyk one of the only people to survive the full AJ onslaught

One amazing skill AJ has is his finishing ability if he sees you are weak. His full onslaught finished Wladimir Klitschko, Povetkin, Whyte, etc or at least knocked them down.

Usyk is the only one who survived it without getting knocked down. I’d say Andy Ruiz also survived it but with a counter hook that put Joshua down. But Usyk survived it with his pure defensive skills and slickness. I saw in the onslaught that none of the punches really hit Usyk full on.

I think people are sleeping on the fact that Usyk is one of the best defensive fighters of our generation. He survived the onslaught of one of the best finishers in HW history and turned the tide to win the fight. It was very impressive.

AJ knocked out Wlad, Povetkin, Pulev, Whyte, Martin, Breazeale, and Molina, and stopped Takam albeit prematurely. They all hit the canvas. Granted the first three were pushing 40 or 40 + but they were all still formidable and three of the best HWs in the world at the time and the later two of them went on to register some good wins after losing to AJ. But little blown up CW Usyk not only never hit the canvas once against a way bigger KO 84% AJ he whooped that ass x 2

AJ never went for the kill that fight, never really sensed any weakness from Takam.

But he smashed Pulev once he witnessed he was weak, and Pulev is much better than Takam

Anthony Joshua could fall to 24-4 in December.

Guess which British Olympic Super Heavyweight Gold Medalist was also 24-4 at one time?

    Audley Harrison.

Maybe Joshua should fight David Haye?

Uysk is extremely hard to stop. Its an Elite mindset, fitness, and reflexes. It makes him an ATG.

Joshua should have made a statement in the Ruiz rematch, a fight he coasted, Ruiz has an iron chin but is stoppable.

To be fair only Parker survived without getting at least KD. Ruiz suffer a KD in the first fight, and was schooled 12-0.

This 2 wins for me rank the highest currently. As for me AJ has top 3 resume in the HW, it's in his absolutely prime, it's a monstrous puncher, and it's an absolutely elite level fighter + he had all the advantages he could have, from referee, rings, venue, judges, inside information and his team was calling the shots how, when and where the fights to take place, and also having a rematch clause, which is a big thing.

AJ is a top fighter and i'm sure he will prove that.
As far as Usyk i hope he fights for Undisputed and retire. He is already on the slide from some time, and i don't wanna see him losing cause of father time.

I don't think that fat version of Ruiz was stoppable. AJ did the smart thing that night, cause everything for him was on the line. He won 12-0, what more statement does he need? Why should he fight stupidly and risk getting stopped again ?

Usyk was not as hurt as the commentary and crowd made it out to be.

AJ missed pretty much all his follow up punches

Usyk chose to remain low and hunched to protect his body and not come up and get caught to the head. Then clinched well when safe to do so.

Yes, of AJ's last 15 opponents Usyk and J-Park are the only ones who haven't hit the deck and Usyk obviously managed to achieve that over 24 rounds not 12 and J-Park was only giving away 5½lbs to AJ.

People forget how destructive a puncher AJ is

Yes I want to see Usyk fight for all the marbles next and another mega payday and then call it a day, unless of course a rematch with Fury or even a trilogy between them is on the table

I've heard that Usyk will walk away with £40 m for the rematch but his purses prior to the first fight haven't been befitting for someone of his vast talent and accomplishments

How much has Anthony Joshua made in his last five fights

Anthony Joshua Vs Wladimir Klitschko (2017) - £20 Million
Anthony Joshua Vs Joseph Parker (2018) - £16 Million
Anthony Joshua Vs Alexander Povetkin (2018) - £20 Million
Anthony Joshua Vs Andy Ruiz Jr (2019) - £20 Million
Anthony Joshua Vs Andy Ruiz Jr 2 (2019) - £46 Million

How much has Oleksandr Usyk made in his last five fights

Oleksandr Usyk vs Murat Gassiev (2018) - £335,040
Oleksandr Usyk vs Tony Bellew (2019) - £837,600
Oleksandr Usyk vs Chazz Witherspoon (2019) - £1.2 Million
Oleksandr Usyk vs Derek Chisora (2020) – £2 Million
Oleksandr Usyk vs Anthony Joshua (2021) – £3.4 Million

I read that Usyk walked away with £5 m for the first fight not £3.4 m

yes AJ is big stiff idiot robot
& yes his wins are against career mediocre boxers & old washed up men mediocre boxers

good finisher if you stand in front. like a old cement boots boxers & tomato cans plodders are inclined to do.

    Usyk is very good boxer
not a tomato can or washed old man yet
