He really isn't. He relies on power, only. Tyson, who is the lightest hitting HW of the top 3, battered him from pillar to post. Tyson has NEVER been a puncher, ever. Usyk is a class above. He's a master boxer. He's got a Plan A-D, unlike Wilder.
If Fury had stopped Wilder in the 1st fight and then again in the Ortiz then that would be the better win hands down but all DW's vulnerabilities were once again exposed by Tyson in the 1st fight IMO taking a little of the shine off the still impressive stoppage of the 2nd fight. As others have said best hold out making any definitive statements until Sunday morning but as things stand if AJ stops Usyk impressively with no controversy I'll go with Usyk - He's barely lost a round as a pro, cleaned out the CW division by facing the best and is a proven quality fighter. It's a very, very tough question to answer because Wilder even after 5 years as a world champ by the time of the Fury rematch we still didn't really know how good he actually was, his best win was Luis Ortiz (decent) followed by a bunch of fringe contenders, journeymen and past it HW and CW contenders. Difficult to truly gauge his quality with that level of opposition as opposed to Usyk who beat everyone he was asked to without controversy.
I`m not sure about that, all he has to do is push Wilder onto the backfoot using feints, Wilder is a dangerous fighter on roller skates.
Could depend on the proceedings of the fight. If AJ wins by a very dodgey stoppage or awful scorecards it won't be worth much. If Wilder brings something special and actually troubles a game Fury, and he turns it around, that could be valuable. Generally speaking though Usyk is going to be a much better win, at the least because Wilder has already been beaten at least once and Fury might have his number.
Usyk. Dominant at the weight below, ultra skilled never been stopped, leftie - potentially a nightmare for anyone Wilder awful boxer, huge KO power, has been rocked all over the show by B level fighters. The first time someone forced him on the back foot he folded. Has been outboxed twice by Ortiz before pulling out the nuke, outboxed by Fury before pulling out the nuke and still needed a gift draw. Before being stomped over by by Fury in the 2nd fight.
He has always been a hype job mate, long before Fury shown everybody once and for all, Wilder only took on Fury when he did because he would at last get a decent name on his record, and he still couldn't beat him with all the advantages he had on him.
