Dave Allen recently said Chisora is the hardest puncher he's shared a ring with. He said Belly was the 2nd hardest puncher. He's shared a ring with loads of big punching HWs This content is protected
Seems like an effort to undermine the IBF title fight between Dubois and Joshua. Illegal blow or not, clearly Dubios hit him with far heavier shots than Chisora. He was back peddling from a body shot off Joshua, and the uppercuts from Fury too. He seemed untroubled by Chisora's "power" Not sure what Joyce did to **** him off though. He fought him in a 5 round semi-pro event. It's not like he had to deal with Joyce for 12 rounds. Ask Parker how easy that is.
Tough one. Could be team Dubois whose melt down extended for what seemed like weeks. They were constantly on the radio. Joshua's was obviously pretty iconic: a short yet explosive meltdown. Fury is also in with a good shout with his war in Ukraine comments, and still hasn't accepted the loss as far as I know. The Brits haven't been the best of losers really
If you go back and watch that fight with Joyce, it's clearly apparent that Usyk had NO respect for Joyce's power. He fought almost reckless, which is severely out of character for him.
Fair enough, but again, he didn't fight Joyce in the pro ranks. As I said they fought in 5 rounds semi-pro 2013. Also, Usyk hit the ground running in the pro ranks. Joyce had his peak performance in 2022. After which Joyce was Usyk's mandatory, even if for a short time. But Usyk was in no hurry to fight any of his madatories. And let's not forget Usyk got his title shot by forcing his position as WBO mandatory to Joshua. He was also pretty much refusing to fight Joyce for the interim back then as well. And while he was in his rights to do so, I think considering the above, saying Joyce was his easiest fight is out of order
Why would Usyk lie about Joyce being his easiest fight also at the time Usyk made the right choice by not fighting Joyce for interim he got a shot at the full title
That seems accurate. Dubois hardly did anything vs Usyk outside of the low blow/body shot incident and the most AJ did was have Usyk in trouble a few times in the rematch. Bellew and Chisora had a shocking amount of success against Usyk.
Because he didn't fight him in the pro ranks... Why doesn't he just mention some British amateur he turned over in the early rounds of some random amateur tournament?
