Usyk really does not like Dubois.

He's probably not to happy with Dubois after Dubois claimed he was robbed and demanded a rematch with Usyk after the fight. Dubois did make himself look like a bit of plank considering he's already assuming he will beat Parker which is a foolish thing to do.

 

Do you blame him? Won every round against Dubois and the Dubois team done the media rounds calling robbery

Forget the low blow itself and Dubois getting pissy after the fight about it getting called correctly.

Usyk is about as clean a fighter as we have in the heavyweight division and he lets his skills do the talking - I would imagine he'd have very little time for someone who turned up with lowblows as their plan A... Especially if they then dishonestly claim they think they've been hard done by when the ref gets it right.

 

Dubious and Warren have tried to label Usyk as a cheat so I’m not surprised he doesn’t like him.

I’ve liked watching Dubois’ resurgence but I really didn’t like his behaviour on Saturday night.

He should focus on Parker, where a win is far from a given, then think about throwing down challenges.

 

Can’t blame him for being upset. The guy was in there having a heartfelt speech about his kids before that autist stole the mic away. Although I think Warren put Dumbois up to it because he probably views Parker as a serious threat and is looking to cancel that fight to make Usyk 2.

He looked pissed at Dubois trying to upstage him.

Usyk will forgive him after he beats him again. He is a nice man.

 

Joshua did the same thing to him. I get that boxing is a business and you have to sell the fight. But ruining somebody's moment that they rightfully earned is a still a low class move. There's a right and wrong way to promote yourself.

 

Dubois has not handled himself well outside the ring. Genuinely docile

 

Usyk is no doubt correct about Dubious, who is obviously another PR job like AJ.
But Usyk is clearly also a terrible judge of character.
AJ is a scumbag who disrespected him and showed terrible sportsmanship.
Chisora is a scumbag who once spat in Wlad's face in the ring, Wlad who apparently is Usyk's friend.

Usyk ring IQ is advanced.
Usyk social IQ is zero.

 

Dubois behaved like a baby after Usyk's victory. He deserves to be overlooked and certainly doesn't deserve a rematch after being knocked out already.

 

Agree, I love Usyk but of all those brit fighters mentioned, Dubois seems the most genuine, gentil giant type. He's just not that bright and is influenced by scum like Warren.

 

Dubois storming the ring was just Warren trying to get the next bite at the cherry.

Favorite moment of the whole weekend was Usyk calling Frank blind. He was not wrong.

 

Dubois won't get past Parker anyway, so this is going to look a bit egg on face a couple of months from now. I agree with Dangerwood though; of all the fighters on that list with the exception of Bellew Dubois seems the nicest, even if he is a bit of a Tim Nice But Dim and stole Usyk's thunder with his silly call out and claim of robbery. But then he did mention something disparaging about Joyce's mum's blindness before, so maybe he isn't that nice. He doesn't come across as a total dick like Fury or a narcissist like Joshua. Maybe Usyk just dislikes cheats who claim robberies. He's a sporting man, and Dubois is probably the least sporting of that bunch based on performance.
