Especially if Wilder fights off his back foot, like he did against Ortiz.

Base on sentiment on this board in the past couple years, very few would favor him over AJ or Fury. After tonight's fight, it still remains true. He will be the underdog against Fury, AJ and Wilder. He would be a slight favorite over Ruiz, but that would be a tough fight for Usyk.

Usyk is borderline top 5 at heavyweight, but it doesn't mean he is going to win against lesser opponents. He is going to struggle with size and power of his opponents in every fight.

I think Usyk is correctly rated. He's the best Cruiser in the world, but he's undersized and under-powered at heavy. His skills are carrying him through these fights.

I just think Chisora was stylistically a difficult opponent for Usyk. I think he will do better against both AJ and Fury.

Barring stopping Chisora I can't see what more he could've done right.. The guys had one shitty little heavyweight fight in two years…. Dances rings around a big brawler & the critics come out acting like he's some mediocre average joe lol.. wasn't that a motivated Chisora 'in the shape of his life' apparently?

I see Usyk probably around the Chageav and Ibragimov level when they were undefeated belt holders. Good skillful heavyweights, but a bit undersized. Although I'm not sure they would lose that many rounds to wore torn Chisora.

This. Chisora's experience in the early rounds really showed, since he was slipping under a lot of Usyk's punches and sneaking in right hands, but to Usyk's credit he made the necessary adjustments by keeping his left glove up and throwing clean combinations on Chisora. Although Joshua is much younger and bigger than Chisora Joshua is still green, so I definitely don't see Joshua having an easy time with Usyk and I can see Fury also having a hard time with Usyk's mobility and handspeed.

chisora looked like crap. no rhythm, no stamina, no defense, no movement...and still stayed competitive. he was swinging wild punches from cape town and still finding usyks head.
all this master boxer nonsense is fanboy stuff. the guy is good, but behave already. hes parker level at hw...if that. im not talking level of cuteness, im talking actually taking scalps. yes he looked above chisora, but chisora was putrid. ruiz would buuldoze him, and wilder would plank him, never mind the other 2. imagine wilder landing those shots drunk chisora landed.
hw is not gonna be anything like cw for him.

He most definitely can beat the robot juice head Joshua,, I mean if a fat burrito eating blob beat him you don’t think the dedicated brilliant boxing Usyk can’t?

and Fury had a rough night with Otto Wallin who is about the same size as Usyk and not as good

Think Usyk actually had a reach advantage tonight, if that gets taken away from him I’m not sure what he’s got for the bigger HW’s. Footwork?

I think Usyk would have an easier time with Wilder than Ruiz. He can outbox Wilder and may even stop him in the later rounds. Wilder doesn't throw a lot of punches and that will give Usyk enough time to set up his shots.

Ruiz is a tougher fight because of his speed, power and combinations. He is fast enough to catch Usyk flush and the power will put him down.

If I were to match these guys up, it would go like this:

    - Fury would be a big favorite at -700.
    - AJ is a medium favorite at -400.
    - Ruiz would be a slight favorite at -175.
    - Wilder would be a slight underdog at +150.

You don't have to be a sophisticated technician to fight as an effective pressure fighter.

It's kind of weird that he is doing that. He used to write tons of troll threads bashing American fighters and really upping random EE fighters.
