A big, strong HW that can impose their strength, pressure and dig to the body will be Usyk's undoing. Fury and Joshua both fit the bill.
Anything's possible. But it looked like Joshua learned a lot from the Ruiz debacle, and I personally don't read all that much into Fury-Wallin.
Usyk and Wallin are not even close to being the same size. Wallin is 6'6" at 235. Usyk is much smaller. Size also determine a fighter's ability to take a shot and Usyk can't take a shot like a heavyweight could.
i can see that. ive never accused wilder of being a good boxer, but he can find a spot for his right hand if you got lazy defense. and i saw lazy defense today. ruiz wouldnt let usyk breath and usyk needs room to gain advantage on you. plus, andy would eat his punches like empanadas.
He did well against a strong opponent, Usyk was always going to box this way...just didn't expect Chisora to bring this much pressure. What this showed though is that Usyk carries power up to heavyweight, he wobbled Chisora in second half with a good timed shot. Obviously not one punch KO power, but he has enough pop to discourage big fighters from just going in straight.
His chin is good. Usyk would just straight up block Chisora's body punches with his arms and not buckle.
Yeah, just look at this stuff: https://www.boxingforum24.com/threads/my-welterweight-top-10.541622/ https://www.boxingforum24.com/threads/my-new-supermiddleweight-top-10.235183/
