    That’s an “insanely” logical post.

Around these parts, such logic would get you stamped as an AJ fanboy by some.

Imagine if they did fight and AJ won? The addendum deflection would be “Don’t worry, he (AJ) beat Fury, so AJ fanboys still have that to cling to”. Denial all the way down the line. Lol.

Ah, so Usyk’s words are open to interpretation?

Olek also said (and unambiguously) that Fury was afraid of him and was therefore ducking him.

Most certainly, we ALL knew what Olek meant by that.

I think this is all this childish personally people arguing whether or not Joshua or Fury did better vs Usyk. Both fighters lost fairly convincingly IMO on the scorecards, Joshua had a good moment in the 9th round of their 2nd fight hurting Usyk to the body. And Fury also had a good moment in the 6th round of their fight hurting Usyk to the body.

But really does it matter ? Usyk comeback and punished Joshua in the 10th round, and Usyk comeback and pretty much TKOed Fury in the 9th round. Both fighters lost in the region of 8-4 I don't think theres much difference except Joshua probably fought the best version of Usyk in their 1st meeting.

Let's just hope Fury and AJ fight eventually so this will all be moot point.

What a weird reply. Not sure what point you’re even trying to make.

My translation of his analogy was that Fury was far more unpredictable than Joshua

Not a weird reply. Your lack of comprehension isn’t my problem.

Usyk is saying AJ is a more standard, classical type of boxer and that Fury is less orthodox and more erratic. It’s not that deep.

It obviously matters to the people who are trying to compare Fury and Joshua (for “2nd place” honours) without the benefit of them having fought one another.

It seems a number of Fury fans have given him the benefit of the doubt over all fighters he hasn’t faced, including Usyk….until he actually fought Olek.

Even then, some don’t seem to be accepting that defeat and duly acknowledging who is the better man. Many excuses have followed since that fight….

Unfortunately, simply “supposing” that Fury is the better man seems good enough for a certain contingent of Fury fans - in lieu of them actually witnessing Fury getting in the ring and proving his superiority over said opposition.

I agree - Fury should be getting in the ring to fight AJ to provide the answer as to who is the better man, in H2H terms at the very least, if not even more broadly applied.

Putting aside all excuses, against Ngannou, Fury didn’t prove that he was the better man, in the ring (where is actually counts) - a fight that many felt Fury lost.

And yet, excuses were still offered after the fact of that fight, “supposing” that Fury was severely understated and would be the better man “otherwise”.

The fact is, Fury has still yet to prove that he is actually better than Ngannou H2H - and no amount of speculation or “supposing” is going to wipe the slate clean for Fury in respect of that fight.

By your own logic Has Aj proved better than Ruiz?
No amount of speculation will wipe clean that a fat man with straight from a camp in McDonald's bashed him pillar from post

The running away and point fighting in the rematch does not prove he is the better man head to head

So If Ngannou is better than Fury, then Ruiz is better than Joshua

His win was an absolute smashing that made him ignore ref instructions and quit like a dog

Anyway the thread was about usyk saying Fury is better (he is saying that) and I agree

Without question fury caused him more problems, until fury got caught he was starting to put on some real hurt to Usyk. It wasn't the puncuh in the chin that turned the fight it was the one the broke furys nose, once that went the fight swung back towards usyk.

He was still putting it to superheavyweight Joshua at the end of the fight. When I was watching the 9th, this is what I thought of.

It was a bit of a joke. The point is the fight ended with him shellacking the hell out of the bigger man, just like the 9th of Fury.

AJ is a big plodding bum compared to Fury. AJ does nothing better than Fury but raw power.
