I think Perez can be new money men if Hearns sign him up like he said he would if Perez looks good.

Right, I see no reasonable reason why he shouldn't be involved,

In an old interview, Usyk said he's going to come in around 220 pounds when he moves up to HW to spark AJ out cold.

Usyk, who is THE RING’’s No. 1 rated cruiserweight and the WBO titleholder, doesn’t see himself as a colossal heavyweight, tipping the scales at around 220 pounds when he does make the jump. “I’m not going to bulk up,” he said. “I’m going to be exactly 100 kilograms. I think that’s going to be enough.”

He also said in another interview from 2016 that he considers Levit and Joyce the real Olympic gold medalists not the runners up. Usyk holds wins over both so I consider him the 2016 Olympic gold medalist at one of those weights (HW & SHW) because he'd beaten both of those guys before. I think its only fair we give him one of those gold medals considering that. He obviously won gold at the 2012 Olympics but I feel he was robbed against the eventual silver medalist at the 2008 Olympics and would've almost certainly gone on to win the gold had the judges not screwed him over. So for me, Usyk is the 2008, 2012, and the 2016 Olympic gold medalist.

“I really liked how Joe Joyce boxed at this Olympics. For me, he is the real Olympic champion, not Yoka. The same I can say about Vassily Levit, who was also a victim of awful judging”, - Oleksandr Usyk said to Mateusz Borek.

He said he will move up to heavyweight within 3 years so could be sooner.

Usyk is too lite fisted for the HWs. Big boys at HW will walk him down.

I seriously doubt Usyk will have the power to bother a elite HW like Joshua he has the skills but his power probably won't do much at HW. His power at CW isn't great.

HW's are much larger now than they were 30-40 years ago. A good portion of these guys can be classified as Super Heavyweights.

I think Usyk is a very talented boxer but I'd rather see him stay at CW and attempt to have a long, dominant reign there. It's not like he's moving up 8 pounds to a different weight class as in the lighter weights; he could easily be outweighed by 20+ pounds by some of these HW's on fight night.

Usyk outpointed Beterbiev 17-13 in this fight but was dropped by a body shot and was running most of the time. As we know, though, in the amateurs a KD is scored as a single punch. No additional points awarded.

Usyk will do very well at HW. By the time he moves up.. he'll be even more seasoned as a pro, stronger and even better than he is now. Working with Loma and his dad will only help.

I don't know if he can beat the likes of AJ or not - AJ is obviously a huge unit and he has so much size and weight on him and is very powerful and he has fast hands for his size too. But Usyk has the speed of hand and foot, athleticism, footwork and movement, skills and boxing ability, and ring IQ and punch variety to cause a lot of these big HWs nightmares and I think he'll do very well up there too.

In two or three years... Usyk will be number two or three in the PFP ratings, have a HW strap or two and he'll beat Joshua if Ol' HGH gutt is still around ;) Bump this post on 6/12/2020 :D

If Usyk trains with Lomachenko's father, he will be able to become a heavyweight champion...............Usyk can punch very hard whenever he sets down on a punch..............he will be giving angles, lateral movement, too fast for the heavyweights..........
