The WBO have won a court case ruling that the winner of the Ruiz rematch will have to face Usyk, who will prevail out of these three and go on to hold three titles?
A few months ago id have without question thought AJ would be the more difficult opponent. Now, I think I'd have to go with Ruiz -- who I'm almost positive will win the rematch. In theory, on paper, Usyk SHOULD be able to outbox Ruiz to a close decision at least. But Ruiz has a titanium chin, good boxing ability and can roll with punches well, faster ahands than Usyk, more power, throws punches from unconventional angles with furious speed and power....... Dont think anyone can really call it.
Guess Usyk will be fighting Ruiz, then: I fully expect Big Andy to do the business on Joshua even more convincingly the second time around.
I think Joshua will win the rematch and will beat USYK, if Ruiz wins the rematch Usyk will beat him by close UD.
Alphabets are so ridiculous. He hasn’t even fought at heavyweight. How the heck can he be made mandatory?
Yeah I think the same if he wins rematch, uncle al will have him vacate the wbo and have him probably fight kownacki.
I think it's because he was the WBO, CW champ. If you move up, they give you a shot. I know they used to do it in the 90's-00's, if you'd made so many defences of the belt.
I’ve met both and they are pretty much the same height at 6’1”. Boxrec is a great resource, but some of their height listings are way off like Luis Ortiz being listed at 6’4” when he was shorter than Malik Scott, who my coach measured at 6’3” even.
