I thought he vacated his cruiser titles, which would mean giving up this (ridiculously corrupt) ‘mandatory’ rule spot.

    Yeah, but only recently.

They want him to represent them.

usyk was undisputed cruiserweight champion and has the right to move up and have an immediate challenge with the wbo heavyweight champion, there is nothing ridiculous about it. and no dropping the wbo cruiserweight belt doesn't mean you lose out on the mandatory.

I don't see Usyk vs ruiz happening I just can't picture it in my head.

I think Ruiz would drop the WBO and you'll see Usyk vs someone like Agit Kabayel for the vacant.

I think Usyk is gonna be the avoided unglamorous guy and once he gets one belt most people won't have a reason to go near him.

That's kind of like throwing Usyk into the deep end right from the start.

He's a Super Champion so that alone, gives him right to challenge for the title.

So basically if they go down the route, by the end of next year, it will be the winner of Fury and Wilder v Usyk for the undisputed champion of the world. Quite a prospect.

AJ will beat Ruiz in the rematch before beating Usyk by way of K.O.

Usyk vs Zhilei Zhang for the vacant WBO belt :naughty2:

These are the old WBO rankings:
    1. Dillian Whyte
    2. Tom Schwarz
    3. Tyson Fury
    4. Oscar Rivas
    5. Zhilei Zhang
    6. Tyrone Spong
    7. Junior Fa
    8. Agit Kabayel
    9. Kyotaro Fujimoto
    10. Evgeny Romanov

Fingers crossed that Whyte/Rivas takes the challenge. I am pretty certain that Ruiz/Joshua will drop the belt.

    Is boxing.run by the Mafia?????

Usyk hasnt even fought at heavy yet... i swear I read some clause somewhere that he must fight first.

And then why are WBO fighting for Usyk? where has that incentive come from?

Too much injustice in this sport with sanctioning bodies... we need a regulalator or some form.of legal governing body.to ensure fairness and consistency.

If Usyk defeats either of them and takes 3 belts in his 1st fight in HW it would be a fantastic achievement!
