    Parkers is a waste

    Barry teaching him nothing new

No plan B and it's so predictable it hurts

After watching that clutch fest with Fa I'd puke to see him again. Parker looked pretty good some time ago ,but he looks like he's faded . I think Joyce stops him

He peaked yrs ago, and his bad habits are cemented IMO. On the flipside, I think he still isn't n easy fight for Usyk. He's iron chinned and if he can throw self preservation out the window, and bulldoze forward to rough the smaller man up - then it could spell a hard night for usyk. If he dances around on the outside throwing paltry shots then easy night for Usyk. Joyce is easier to hit. I wouldn't count Parker out in that one. Hell, **** it. I'm gonna go with Parker if they ever fought. That punching plastic toy style wouldn't work vs Parker IMO

Parkers not an easy night for nobody, correct

Usyk will out box him fairly simply however

Most probably. I'm trying to wrack my mind to come up with some path to victory for JP, and the in ya face one is all I can conjure up. 9/10 Usyk taps him to UD, but there;s still that 1/10

What fickle creaures boxing fans are.

Yes, knocking out Dubois is better than a somewhat competitive decision over Fa. Better opponent and better result. That doesn't negate the fact that Parker is a higher caliber and more proven commodity than Joyce, and stylistically would stand a better chance versus Usyk (who absolutely would have a field day with Joyce's dearth of speed, and would only have to worry about the slim ghost of a 0.00001% puncher's chance that JJ might have if he connected something lucky during a moment some dust happened to get in Usyk's eye or something)

Parker fights like he's embarrassed to be there, Joyce at least acts like he is a boxer.

Joyce vs Usyk would be more pleasing to watch.

JP vs Joyce would be a cracker fight. JP has a granite jaw and Joyce's is pretty decent itself. Parker wouldn't just gobble up jabs all night, that's Dubois' MO. He'd keep on Joyce. Joyce wouldn't mow JP with his plastic toy wack em style. Parker would land and plentifully. Joyce ain't mayweather. Tantalizing fight if JP gets to actually punch. Legit 50/50 that one IMO. I'd put the money on JP if I had to.

The WBO is driven almost entirely by money. They are betting that Joyce will make better purses than Parker and are probably right.

It wouldn't, because The Cat would dance circled around him and pot shot to a shutout. Joyce would never lay a glove on him.

Parker would also probably lose, but more in the 116-112 neighborhood, and there might be a few interesting moments provided he came in very motivated.

IMO Joyce would look slow as molasses in vs Usyk. His come forward MO might pose some problems but I can't see Usyk ****ing up vs Joyce. Dubois was green and overrated. I like Joyce but nothing in his resume, apart from Jennings, tells me he's a major threat to Usyk

You'd be asleep by the 4th round with Parker so you would miss any interesting moments, even if they would actually occurr.

A lot of guys would have given pre-Fury Wilder a good fight. Indeed, Molina, Szpilka and Ortiz did just that. I think Parker would have beaten Wilder more often than not but so would Joe Joyce, Usyk, AJ, Hrgovic, a less fat Ruiz, Hunter and Povetkin.

Parker spent the last couple of years fighting low-mid level journeymen and while not having any real problems, not looking hugely impressive either. He's stepped up a level to fight Fa and it was a highly competitive fight with two absurdly wide scorecards. Joyce on the other hand is unbeaten and has defeated two live opponents in Jennings and Dubois in the time since Parker lost to Whyte. Parker has nothing to complain about and needs to beat Chisora or someone of that calibre before he gets a shot at the winner of Usyk-Joyce.

Parker was unimpressive in the Fa fight. Joyce at least looked like a decent heavyweight against Dubois.

I like Joyce, but Parker has a better resume than Joyce for sure. Parker should be number 2 with the WBO if you look at his opponents.
