What he should do is not fight anybody and pressure for the new date based on the doctor recommendations for the cut. If Fury is really running as people suggest, that will be obvious, because he won't want to reschedule.

The obvious choices (given WBC rankings) are the winner of Joshua-Ngannou (1 Vs 10) or Sanchez-Kabayel (2 Vs 4).

As much as nobody wants to see Joshua-Usyk 3 for undisputed, a laughable blowout of third rate Sanchez or Kabayel to crown Usyk would make a mockery of the division.

 

Realistically he's only still in the sport at all for the undisputed fight... Fury can (and probably will) delay it until a point where it's not worth it anymore.

Unless the WBC does the decent and strips Fury (but this is the WBC, so they won't)
