I seem to remember old grandpa Ortiz beating the white rhino like he was his sorry step child. But nobody gives credit for Deontay's win over the true bogeyman of the division.

Dave Allen isn't a world class fighter but he does have a world class chin, and this does show the damage Usyk can do when he puts his weight into the shot. Still, I doubt AJ is going to have his hands down like that, or be that open unless he's off his game or proper knackered.

One thing Usyk does seem to have is 'concussive power', literally. He had Bellew concussed seemingly a round or two before the KO from - I'm guessing - those flared left crosses. He blacks Allen out on his feet. We know Joshua was concussed a few fights ago from a perceived featherfist: is this a match?

 

Bogeyman if the division because he beat Dave Allen? Yeah course he is. Ortiz turns down as many fights as he takes, he can only fight once a year as he needs 11 months to prepare to pass a medical.

 

I think Usyk gives AJ a tough out here today. Almost certain tho that if it goes to the cards, and it's close, AJ gets the nod

 

I think Usyk definitely has the power to hurt Joshua if he lands right, afterall we've already seen AJ be hurt, dropped and stopped.
On the other hand, Usyks durability at heavy and cruiser is a bit of an unknown commodity, as he has a good defense that means he rarely gets caught clean.

I think a stoppage win for Usyk is very possible.
He may be able to stop AJ to the body aswell as the head.

 

Anyone over 200lbs can crack.
