Usyk signing means really bad news for Wilder and is fans

While I agree Usyk would be a very difficult opponent for Wilder I think your misjudging the situation. The WBC is very pro US, no chance they allow Usyk to become mandatory, look how they froze out Tyson Fury and now Whyte. While at the same time allowing Arreola a 2nd shot by facing a guy he already lost to in Stiverne, then allowing Stiverne be mandatory by simply beating a journeymen then not fighting for ages. Then you have Molina and Breazeale as an eliminator shutting out Whyte. Unless Hearn starts dishing out bribes by the bag full none of his fighters are facing Wilder as mandatory any time soon.

 

The fans will put enormous pressure on them to deliver AJ v Wilder/Fury winner. That fight has to happen.

Stiverne became mandatory by default when Povektin came up dirty for Peds the second time. The WBC's plan was to feed Povetkin the remains of Stiverne so he could earn back his mandatory status to Wilder.

They had no idea dummy Povetkin would go and juice himself up again.. lol

 

Usyk is more of a threat to Wilder than Joshua?

Juiceyk is gonna get stomped at HW, Hearn will probably feed him to Whyte before he gets anywhere near one of the champs.

 

If Usyk wants the wilder fight all he has to do is beat a couple ranked guys in the WBC. I garuntee you that Usyk won’t have felt powers like Wilder and unlike Gassiev Wilder has faster feet. I got AJ and Wilder beating Usyk due to power and size. I think Usyk beats the rest, the Ortiz fight is very competitive though.

 

I think he should become the number one challenger. That should do the trick.

 

Getting Wilder to actually fight a relevant top guy is like asking a non fit skinny person to lace a giant rope around his waist and pull a mini tractor.

You wont see Usyk vs Wilder bc in two years time either Wilder will have lost to Joshua or Fury( next) pick one.

Usyk himself wants the better bigger fight in Joshua,hes not waiting for Wilder which takes YEARS ..lol

True, if Usyk was gonna go the easier WBC path to a heavyweight title he would of signed with Haymon instead of Hearn, just like Ortiz did. He clearly wants to fight "The Man" in the division which is Joshua.

 

Yep it does literally take YEARS. Many years of Povetkins career were wasted chasing him. Dillian Whyte has waited about 2 years at least and is ready to give up, Joshua 1 year. The WBC are like his co promoters - protecting him.

 

It makes sense to go after AJ because he has all those belts and mandatories, and eventually he gets stripped or bounced and there will be an opening for Usyk.
