lol, so a guy who has unified the cruiserweight division, and has some of the biggest fights in the world lined up, and people are wondering if Matchroom are going to keep the next global superstar in the dark fighting no names? Some people are either flat out ******ed or straight up trolls. Lol, read my lips, Bellew, Lebedev, Breidis 2, WBSS 2 winner, Okolie, Yarde, Allen, Parker, Whyte, Joshua. It's Matchroom promoting a globally recognized unified Cruiserweight world champion, which since WBSS has been earmarked as the new world glamour division. Matchroom and Usyk are about to run off with more money than Bernie Madoff over the next 5 years. His fight purse earnings will shortly start to hit $10 million a fight.

To be fair Hearn didn't get rid of Ortiz, Ortiz ran to Haymon when he realised he was about to be named mandatory and had to fight Joshua next. Pulev did a similar thing but at least he pretended he wanted the fight before getting "injured" in the build up to the fight.

 

very smart move by usyk hearn is the best promoter in boxing. and brilliant move by hearn. signs the one guy in my opinion the only guy who can beat Joshua if they were to fight in 2019 . you already have the champ so why not sign the one guy who has the best chance just to be safe

If he was such a genius promoter he would have managed to acquire Groves, Frampton and Fury, three of the biggest native talents and names, but due to his ego and tactical stupidity, managed to generate bad blood with each and drive away.

 

FURY is a moron hearn dodged a bullet with that one.. I dunno why anyone would want to promote Tyson fury hes a nutjob and a full time baby sitting job for anyone who promoting him. and he could lose interest at any moment and go back to hisold habits

No doubt Hearns has been retained to help do for Usyk what Hearns does for AJ: to feed Usyk a steady diet of eurobums while keeping him away from Fury and Wilder. Fair play to Usyk, as the Brits say.

 

Frampton and Groves while I like both are pretty well pricks, I agree on Fury. But Frampton and Groves can't get past their own egos to work with Hearn. Did you see how big a pos Frampton was at every stage of the Quigg leadup, the same can be said of Groves leading up to both fights against Froch.

You don't have to like Hearn, hell you can hate his ****ing guts, but trying to say he's not a great promoter is ridiculous. At least be honest.
