Usyk - Signs with Matchroom

Man some people talk some rubbish. How was Ortiz 'exposed' against Scott and Allen lol. He demolished an iron chinned Allen in 7 and looked in no trouble. So I assume Dillian Whyte was 'exposed' after going the distance with the same guy where he didn't look like stopping him or is that different because Whyte is English, signed by Matchroom and purposely wanted the rounds? And as for that pathetic Scott performance, he should have been counted out after round 4 when he was down for 15 seconds but the ref let that farce continue instead of saving everyone's time by counting that clown out, but somehow Scott 'exposed' him by running away and playing hide and seek lol for 12 rounds geez Ortiz was really exposed there.

Some Hearn/matchroom fans are really deluded at times.

 

I guess I have to cough up another $10 a month now for Dazn. That really sucks though, boxing will eventually become too expensive for me to follow as a hardcore fan.

Hearn is bringing the best HW, CW and maybe eventually LHW to the US market and there's still complaints.

Hearn said the plan for Usyk is for him to fight Bellew at CW, then to have a HW fight (mentions Whyte as a possibility) then to fight AJ.

 

How long until Joshua is avoiding Wilder/Usyk because he's chosen to fight Wilder/Usyk?

So how are the Matchroom/Hearn haters going to spin this in to a negative?

I remember Ortiz-Scott and Scott should have actually been disqualified for the amount of running he did and his complete refusal to engage in a fight. I hate it when fighters run like that and then the other fighter gets blamed for a bad performance. It’s ridiculous.

 

Can we stop talking about the promoter and talk about the fighter?

This one opens a lot of doors for Usyk. I still wouldn't rule out a Ward fight eventually, but if it's Bellew, Breidis II / Whyte and Joshua, who can complain?

 

He's still with K2, it's on USYK's post, the LOgo of K2. so it's not a matchroom signing. it's a co-signing, he will be co-signed with Matchroom, kinda like Big Baby and Jacobs is co-promoted by matchroom.

 

Last week he was telling everybody how Bellew will beat Usyk!

This 3 fight deal means he think there's zero chance of that

 

Do you understand the role of a promoter?

They're literally paid to set a positive agenda for their fighter at every opportunity.

How some don't understand that still, is beyond me.
