There are no Lennox, or Klitschko heavyweights that have skill and athleticism right now though.

Ali was only 18 years old when he won olympics, usyk was 25 when he won his gold there is a massive difference in maturity and growth between 18-25 years old and Ali wasn’t exactly fat at 227 yeah he wasn’t ripped like some fighters these days because of what I have said before he never lifted weights or took suppliments or had the advantage of modern nutrition to strip down but usyk ain’t putting another stone of fat on and looking in as good a shape than Ali at 228 anyway

Ali was a big heavyweight for his day. Nowadays he would not be a big heavyweight. Part of what made Ali successful was he was bigger and with a long reach than many of his contemporaries.

Take that advantage away and maybe he is not as successful as he was.

I think Usyk would carry 228 as well as Ali, even better as hes bigger framed. Ali at 228 was out of shape and overweight, it wouldn't suit Usyk either..Going a bit homo this thread is now

Maybe Not but I doubt it, put it this way if you put a 227-8 lb Ali in with these heavies today, like when he fought a 6ft 3 256lb mathis a guy who weighs more than a derek Chisora, longer reach, taller , bigger heavier than Parker, taller better reach than Ruiz, similar weight. in other words a modern heavyweight, Ali had no problem handling him no problem, at 228 he would still be way too fast still have a granite chin still have a immense ring IQ and enough power to beat these guys and only being roughly a stone lighter, I think he would be ok.

Based on what exactly? Going 7 rds with zero training camp Chazz Witherspoon?
Let's not get ahead of ourselves, let's see what Usyk can do with a live body 1st before we crown him heavyweight king
