If you give Chisora some credit here for having a great fight and having an awkward game plan to throw Uysk off, Uysks response yesterday doesn't look that bad. Fury had a 116-112 scorecard against Otto Wallin. Whyte and Parker have put in lame performances against fighters rated lower than Chisora.

Think about the game plans AJ used in his rematch against Ruiz and Fury against Wilder. Are those workable game plans against Uysk? All Uysk has to do is avoid the power with his style to get a UD. I won't say I believe he can do that but he's a legit contender at HW.

I’d say the difference Between those other guys having off night to Usyk was that those were stay busy fight and not something akin to a coming out fight for Usyk. Fury didn’t think anything of Wallin and wasn’t there to impress or make any statement. It was a stay busy fight for his Wilder fight. This fight however was Usyk first big heavyweight fight. He did good but wasn’t anything impressive. It went as what was expected. A few good early rnds for Chisora until his gas tank runs out the. Usyk will use speed and superior boxing to win rnds. The reason it wasn’t anything special is because it was Chisora. I don’t care what one anyone else says but Beating a 37 year old Chisora Just isn’t that great of a win.

I think it was an impressive victory mainly cause he was up against a bigger man, but overall it was not that impressive of a performance

not what I was expecting ——but he did win

    He did fine.

I will explain it as many times as people need to hear it. Usyk is not a wind-up guy. He wins by throwing 70-100 punches a round. How much mustard he puts on them depends on what he finds in those first couple of feeling out rounds that he gives himself. The difference between a stoppage, a beatdown, a shutout and a squeek by is merely the difference of a little PSI on each punch.

I am not saying that he will knock out every heavy, just that he is the kind of fighter that has reservoirs of ability.
