Usyk talking about moving back down to cruiser

Almost in the class of a handful of Fury's.

 

He must be allergic, none of the thousands of other juiced pro athletes have this problem.

 

Usyk has pretty much proven himself fearless, travelling to everyone elses backyard and whooping ass.

If anyone is ducking it's Fury. Usyk is a terminator.

 

I think in cruiserweight usyk has all the chances to be one of the best talents this division ever saw .

On the other hand its crystal clear that he indeed just ducked fury because he knew he would loose badly . He is technically brilliant , he is just not a natural heavyweight.

 

Moving back down in weight usually doesn't work out well. Certainly at the larger weights. Would be interested in a list where it did work out well. That being said, he is playing games. Not asking for half a billion dollars like a fat clown though.

 

If Usyk goes back to 200 with his tail between his legs to box some Kiwi nobody outside of Oceania has ever heard of, Usyk is still a beast and Fury is a big quacky duck...

Anyway,

I'm very confident we'll see Fury-Usyk in 2023.

How about if he demands half a billion dollars within a week to take the fight? Fury isn't fighting anyone the rest of this year and never intended to. If he does, it will be a bum.

 

Usyk himself says it is difficult to keep the weight on

 

Assuming Usyk stays above 200 (and I do assume it), Fury boxes him in 2023 for a purse greatly below half a billion dollars. At that point, you will owe him a humble retraction.

If Usyk defies my expectations and scurries off to cruiser (and I don't at all expect he will), there is no logical or reasonable way to spin it as a duck on Fury's part.

2. Good boxer calls out Fury = Fury ducking good boxer
3. Fury calls out bad boxers = Fury ducking good boxer
4. Good boxer refuse to fight Fury = Fury ducking
5. Fury gives boxer 4 month notice offer to fight = Fury ducking
6. Fury wants 3 month between fight = Fury ducking

I didn't say it was acceptable but that in my opinion, if the truth be known, Fury would probably be a little happier not fighting him.
