Usyk talking about moving back down to cruiser

He has to learn how to cycle and read his body. When to lay off and just right when to start up again, regardless of testing.

 

I think Fury isn't trying to leave any question marks hanging over his legacy in this late phase of his career. He's ultimately going to want to box whoever is said to be the best guy around.

But I also think the same is true of Usyk. I would be very surprised if he went back down to cruiser.

If you judge people by who they fought and where they fought, we know that Usyk is the real deal and Fury says he'll fight anyone but tries takes the safest fights he can get away with. I am sick of Fury and his big mouth, I wish he would just go away.

 

I highly doubt he’s telling the truth and is probably trying to mess with Fury. He’s fought at heavyweight in the amateurs as well as the pro’s.

Thing is, Usyk stated prior to Fury asking for a December date, that he wanted to fight early next year. Looks more like Usyk will not allow Fury to dictate anything to him. I bet if Usyk came out and wanted the December fight, Fury would have said early next year.

 

What we bet means nothing. "Early next year" orientates the opponent in no way considering the fact his last fight will be like an year ago. But let say it again: when you call out someone, you don't go into unclear terms and even claiming you think of going back to the lower category or fighting Canelo.

 

Strolled into the back yard of the long-reigning, hard-hitting champeen whom almost nobody favored him to even last the distance with, put his hands behind his back and goaded him to throw.

Walked down the biggest hitter in the division, whom almost everybody said it would be crazy for Fury to try to walk down, again in said adversary's back yard.

I am mainly addressing people calling Usyk a ducker for not wanting to fight in December. As far as terms being unclear, at this juncture there really isn't any reason for exact detail since they haven't engaged in any negotiations. Usyk isn't being anymore unclear saying he wants to fight in Feb as Fury is saying he wants to fight in Dec.

 

True, Usyk did say he will fight, just not in December.

 

I don't think he ducks Fury, but I don't like this lack of anything at least approximate, so to be able to push for a fight when that time comes. Not the best approach and it rightfully creates doubts among some of the fans.

I don't think it's that big of a deal at this moment. Usually Usyk is pretty easy to deal with in negotiations it seems. He's fought for all his titles in the opponents back yard. Once the talks get series, the finer details will be worked out. There may be some gamesmanship involved as well. Usyk letting Fury know he has other options, similar to Fury calling on AJ and Char.
