Usyk v Bellew to be announced tomorrow

There's going to be SOO many big fights this autumn and winter.

Don't know if PPV revenues will hold up.

 

It really could happen, since Bellew has enough power knock anybody senseless if he connects flush and even Usyk has his moments when he gets sloppy.

 

Well anything could happen in the ring, but it's unlikely. Gassiev has at least as much power as Bellew and did catch Usyk a time or two without much effect.

 

So I guess the reason why the WBA ordered Usyk to face Lebedev was to squeeze more dough from Usyk and his team.

 

I think it would be a great legacy moment for Bellew, with a name like Usyk in his win column maybe he gets a shot at a HOF bid retiring as Unified Cruiserweight champ.

I see them making excuses and throwing Usyk under the bus if Bellew beats him instead of giving Bellew any credit.

 

But Briedis can punch. He KTFOed 250 lbs HW Manuel Charr worse than qny heavyweigt did.

 

Gassiev can punch, but he's also slow and one dimensional and has almost zero upperbody movement. After watching Gassiev against both Lebdev and Dorticos I didn't think Gassiev had any chance at beating Usyk. Bellew can get his punches of faster than Gassiev, Bellew throws combinations, and Bellew has headmovement.

 

Bellew? I'd ave preferred Levedev but Bellew brings in the dough i suppose... For some reason! Usyk is a level above.. Wide UD or late TKO.

 

Usyk has an iron chin.

Bellew caught Haye in their rematch heavy when Haye was swinging himself. And he iced Makabu yes, but Makabu also was stopped on his debut so for all we know, Makabu could have a weak chin.

Cruiserweight Bellew failed to put away Light Heavyweight Cleverly and one legged Haye first time round. Let’s not act like Bellew has ungodly power. Even against Flores Bellew set up the KO with a savage low blow.

Bellew May well be a huge puncher at CW but the evidence for it is still weak.
