Fury likes to fight at his own pace and the low output suited him vs an Wladimir.

And even Wilder who is a sharp shooter and not a fighter that puts alot of pressure on you nor does he throw alot of punches.

Bellew once said he'd never been so tired in a fight after fighting Usyk dealing with the constant pressure, movement, angles.

And for record I had Usyk/Fury 1 116-111 for Usyk I didn't think it was overly close.

Fury had good success early on but as Usyk always does he takes over in the 2nd half of the fight just like he did vs Chisora, Joshua 2.

Fury hasn't got the cardio levels and simply isn't good enough to beat Usyk over 12 rounds.

A talented big man but he hasn't got the complete package to do so.

 

A completely laughable brit decision/robbery would be his only chance.

 

Usyk always has that extra gear and it's a big thing for him in these sort of fights. Usyk definitely unlocked something special in the 1st fight in the mid rounds after Fury probably caused the biggest crisis' of his career. Most fighters aren't capable of that at HW(or in general tbh) Fury would have been able to cruise against most heavyweights after 3 dominant rounds like that because the only thing he would have to worry about would be 1 big punch. Lomachenko was similar when he went into that final gear you'd be ****ed.... I don't think he could as reliably dial into once he reached his mid 30s Usyk does which is why he had more struggles late career.

 

Yep agreed and to be honest Usyk has always finished very strong in all of his Heavyweight fights that have been competitive.

Chisora = Usyk lost the early rounds the fight was kinda close after 9 rounds then Usyk takes over in the championship rounds.

Joshua 2 = Again the fight was kinda close after 9 rounds and Usyk was coming off one of the worst rounds of his career in 9th. Usyk comes back dominates the 10th round and then takes over from that point on.

The great fighters are able to pull it out of the fire.
