 Usyk does not have the power to make Wilder respect him. Deontay just walks him down, eats his best shots like they're muffins, and wallops him with that country pow'r.

He doesn't need power Wilder is lucky to hit the broadside of a barn door with those sloppy ass punches. Usyk is very good defensivley and Ortiz showed you can bank rounds vs wilder by throwing about 8 jabs

If you believe Usyk's got too good of defense that's a fine and respectable opinion, but  the **** does Ortiz prove for you? Seems like that's evidence that supports my claim; you need power to keep Wilder off you.

I just don't get it....seems like a dumbass thing to add to an otherwise perfectly respectable opinion.

12 rounds is a long time to avoid getting clipped with that bomb of a right hand...

Also, Usyk isn't exactly the most slick or elusive fighter. Wilder is twice as fast as Gassiev and will connect clean eventually, which will be the end for Usyk. Duhaupas and Ortiz lasted as long as the did because of their power and willingness to crowd Wilder and not give him space. But, they also ate a lot of leather from Wilder in the process.

Stiverne was able to keep Wilder honest and go the distance because Stiverne has crushing power in his counters, so Wilder didn't really commit too much in any of his shots. However, to compensate Wilder moved a lot and threw more punches than he normally does, which resulted in Stiverne taking a beating for 12 straight rounds.

If I was Usyk I would buy my time and wait for Joshua to take out Wilder, then he only needs to beat Joshua for all the belts. He has a better chance of beating Joshua in my opinion, I still think he'll get robbed on the cards against Joshua tho...

    Another Wilder myth....

"You need power to keep Deontay Wilder off you".

Stiverne, Molina, Duhaupas, Szpilka, Arreola, Washington, Ortiz.
All of the above, bar washington, were able to take Wilder over halfway.....

When you type those names out you realise 2 key things.

1 - Bar height (Only on some, he's not much shorter than most), Usyk has the speed, footwork, movement and defence vastly superior to every one of the above.

2 - None of the above are what you would consider 'athletic', bar Washington who isn't a boxer.....It appears Wilder's KO power is only impressive against out of shape HW's who struggle to do 12 rounds. Usyk appeared to be as fresh in the 12th as he was in the 1st.

    Usyk UD.

Of the heavyweights, I'd only pick Tyson, maybe AJ and maybe Miller to beat Usyk. Can't see wilder beating Usyk.
Usyk has enough upstairs to stay away from wilders right hand flush.

Are you trying to address me?

I'd have the same thing to say i just said to the other fella. Are you really conflating rounds with successfully keeping a man at bay? You're gonna pretend you're that stupid? I don't buy it.

The only point you made is Usyk has speed, footwork, and movement. The rest of what you have to say doesn't address what I said and doesn't support your own claims. It's just flippant little girl bull**** and you damn well know it.

Was Washington close to beating Wilder? Then the ****'re you doing making him central to your post? Do you know what a bait is son? Do you not see the difference in Ortiz forcing rounds out of Wilder while Washington walked right into a trap? I don't believe that ****. I don't believe you're that dumb as ****.

I beg to differ. Michael Hunter, who is a complete novice and was also inactive at the time had no problem landing on Usyk and countering him. He even showed that Usyk's defense and stamina aren't all that. Wilder is twice as skilled as Hunter and far more experienced. Wilder also won't gas like Hunter did in the later rounds and isn't a weak puncher like Hunter.

Also, Usyk has a bad habit of stopping and hesitating when he gets hit with a good shot. He can get away with that against guys like Gassiev or Hunter, but would pay the price against Wilder or Joshua, who won't stop and enjoy their handiwork.

@Jackomano we get it mate. You hate Usyk with a passion, are upset that he won on saturday, pray for him to lose every fight, and you are 'trying' to minimize him anyway possible, we get it.
