That's what I'm thinking too. He has few fights remaining. Don't waste one on Dubois. Ideally, I want to see Kabayel get a title shot, but I would actually love to see Usyk fight the winner of Bakole v Ajagba. The winner of that bout establishes themselves as the best current heavyweight coming out of Africa. It would be epic if Usyk travelled to the winner's home nation to defend the titles. Bakole/Ajagba would add to his legacy as either one will be established a solid top 10 heavyweight, and the venue would bring excitement. End with Zhang in China...? Parker would be good option too if he beats Dubois, but I think the other options would be a bit special.
Dubois has a chance, he finished AJ, Usyk went to dec split. And Dubois debatably won a ko win. That was a legal body shot.
If the first fight wasn't controversial in which I still thought was probably a low blow then Usyk really wouldn't need to fight Dubois but Dubois is probably the number 1 to Usyk's champion status. Parker does deserve a shot at the title but I think Dubois will beat him, who knows if Dubois looks good enough, it might show he has really improved.
Ruiz has done nothing to deserve a fight with Usyk. A close UD against Ortiz, a comfortable UD against Areola and a draw against fat baby Miller. That's it in the last nearly 4 years. Before that it was a virtual shut out against AJ. Usyk would embarrass Ruiz who wouldn't land a meaningful blow and it would do nothing for Usyks legacy.
I will be rooting for Parker for the first time in hopes it lets us avoid Usyk vs Dubois II. (Though Usyk vs Parker sounds pretty dull, it will at least be a fresh opponent)
What?? Usyk Dubpis didn't go to a split decision you numpty. Usyk stopped him in round 9. What are you on about? And that "body shot" in the 5th, clearly a low blow smh
aj you dork. belly button is not your balls. just because they hike up their shorts to their chest doesn’t justify them
