Usyk V Fury now declared for May 18th.

Wow, this last few days have been fun. This place creases me up.

Lets be straight here, why the hell would Fury not want the Saudi money? He's litteraly in the country, in sparring, and yet the nutters who are scared of the fight even taking place are out in full screaming "conspiracy", "He's cut himself" lol

Its unfortunate. but May 18th it is. As I have said from the start and will continue to say so, it will happen this year, because the Saudis want it to. They get what they want. Money is (sadly) everything.

Still, that cut reopening gives Usyk confidence, and gives Fury doubts.

 

Because he has been EXCELLENT for the sport

That cut is a factor for sure. But it also gives Fury more time to train. Plus having seen him being in pretty good shape right now gives me confidence.

 

Fury has this in the bag

 

He deserves to be called his Excellency for saving boxing! HEIL TURKI!

 

Warren would gobble on his nutsack for a couple of greenbacks, calling him "excellency" for many millions of dollars wouldn't phase him in the slightest.

 

Fury was pushing for a fight date of April 31st for Usyk.

After that he plans on fighting AJ on June 31st

Then Zhilei Zhang gets the treatment on September 31st

Before Tyson rounds out the year by destroying Hrgovic on November 31st.

 

Fury looks pretty fiery and determined to win this and prove everyone wrong.
The immediate reschedule is very telling.
But actually how lean he was showed the intention. The spare tyre is largely skin from the obese years he needs to have surgically removed, but the rest of him looked better than he has for some time.
I think Fury is gonna throw everything at Usyk.
This will be a great fight.

 

Like last time, I'll maintain casual level of excitement but I'm not getting fully excited until they're in the ring together.

If Fury does pull out again will the WBC strip him immediately or will the clown show just rumble on i.e. new date announced etc?

 

Fury is getting rattled, seen the vid of him sitting on his excellencies knee while he goes at it with Usyk and his manager, really getting wound up at the fact at being called a coward. Lol

 

I don't see it being July far too much competition from Euros, Olympics, Tour De France and Wimbledon that month. All the media attention will be focused on those events and the fight won't get enough media coverage to sell the fight. It has to happen before July otherwise it will be pushed back to the autumn or later.

 

Has anyone explained how the sh1thouse sparring was throwing elbows at Fury two weeks out from the fight, you would string the idiot up wouldn't you?
