Is he big enough for heavyweight? I can see why usyk would move up because he will have the speed and movement but gassiev is just all power. I don't see him having any advantages against the big guys.

He's a rock solid six three with an iron chin. Yes, I'd say he's big enough for heavyweight. Regarding his stylistic attributes, he's not just all power, he's precision, timing and consistency as well. Chris Arreola considered him the hardest puncher he'd ever shared the ring with, and while I always try to take statements like this with a pinch of salt, they have to be considered as well, especially when they come from a no nonsense guy like Chris who's shared the ring with a lot of punchers.

Usyk made him look bad, but put him in the ring with a walking meatbag like Whyte and he'll look like a killer again. His handspeed and footspeed are top notch when coming in on a fighter, though his spotty workrate might be a problem against guys like Joyce.

 

I will have to take your word for it, one thing is for sure Chris Arreola knows a lot about being punched in the face.

I did believe you, i will look forward to seeing how these guys get on in the hw division. Not many fighters have made the leap and been successful.
