    Usyk would Douglas him.

As in Michael Douglas out of "Falling Down". You want to root for the underdog but ultimately "the Man" gets him in the end.

I have to see how Usyk does at HW before making a pick.

Prime Mike Tyson has never faced anyone even close to the level of Tony Thompson.

Tyson got beat up badly against Holyfield, twice! Usyk proofed to be in the same league as Holyfield.

    Intresting fight!

Is everyone basing this fight off of the Gassiev fight? Tyson is not a flat-footed plodder like Gassiev, he had extremely good upper body movement and quick hands and feet along with KO power. I think he would probably stop Usyk somewhere in the middle rounds, Usyk really has nothing to keep Tyson off of him.

We are talking prime Tyson here, not the guy who fought Holyfield after prison and was in his thirties.

lol. i havent really followed usyk at all, but saturday im going to watch his last 4 fights and see what all the fuss is about, then watch mikey beat the crap out of easter, for a full night of boxing. since i dont know any of the players at cruiser, i can judge him without bias, based on how skilled his opponents look and how he handles that skill.

I love Usyk, but prime Tyson was something we have never seen before or since. Forget about his power and intimidation and just look at some of his “underrated” attributes. His upperbody movement was superb, his combinations were deadly and his speed was freakish, given the leverage he created with his punches. I would pick ‘86-‘88 Tyson against ANYONE ever, except maybe Ali, Foreman and Vitali. And they would all be 50/50 fights imo.

If Usyk cleans up the HW division, which he very well could, I might change my opinion. But for now, Tyson pins Usyk on the ropes and unleashes his devastating Hook-Uppercut combo, and brutally KO’s the talented Ukrainian.

Tyson's prime was in his early years till the loss against Buster Douglas.

    Which Tyson?

Prime Tyson takes his head off in 3 rounds.

After prison Tyson looses a close decision if Usyk manages to tie him up close.
