Who knows, Mike never fought southpaws, let alone one like Usyk. Usyk never fought anyone like Mike at his best.

It's foolish to project how people would do against a stance or style they never actually fought with any certainty.All I know is it's a fight I'd love to have seen.

You're right! I've noticed a trend. For example, before the first Ward/Kovev fight, I never heard about Ward being a dirty fighter, or Jacobs being on PED's but, once a fight is made one of ther hero's, all of the sudden guys are dirty cheats.

Nah, you're wrong! I've been coming to this site for over 13 years now. It wasn't until the first Kov fight people started on about Ward being dirty. Sure there were comments made about the Kessler fight but, nothing like the hate Ward got in the build up of the first Kov fight.
Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying Ward isn't rough in there but, my feeling is, if Kov knew he was up against it, meaning the ref and judges were paid off, especially in the rematch, he should have gone dirty himself. At that point he had nothing to lose, except the fight, which he lost anyway. So that tells me, either Kov isn't the guy his fans thought he was or Ward wasn't that dirty to Kov, so Kov felt there was no need for retaliation.
