If arbitration doesn't go his way, he is going to have to start taking those risky fights! No free gifts and "just a baby" talk this time around. Should be interesting if he doesnt prematurely retire.
If i was Usyk i'd make it a condition that if i stepped aside that i get to fight the winner before they rematch
Why would Haymon throw Wilder in there with Usyk instead of his own guys? Especially Ruiz? That would be a big ass fight.
I could imagine the first 3 rounds being interesting as Usyk always starts off really slowly, taking a look at his opponent. Then unless Wilder lands a bomb in those first 3 rounds, Usyk will hunt him down and clown him...possibly getting a late stoppage. As Wilder isnt a pressure fighter or a come forward fighter. Usyk should have a fairly easy nights work.
Agree, for the most part.... I just don't see a PBC route to a free title again just yet, and Wilder is no puppy.
I'd be shocked if Wilder took the fight, they wouldn't let him near Chisora so the idea he fights Usyk seems a stretch. Only way it happens is if Usyk has a title.
